That is annoying. But the Lou Nolan "Are you ready for some hoccckeeeyyyy" is like nails on a chalkboard. Time to 86 that poop. |

Let's face it though, because she's "in the family", she's going to be singing that anthem the way she does until she literally looks like Kate Smith. |

I'm just playing. I can take the smackdown. I know it's coming tonight. You have to take it if you're going to give it. - SMS4016
Agreed. Their will be plenty of time for that. I take a counterpuch approach. I am a nice until it's time to be not nice. |

Honestly, when I think of a Philly opening I am more inclined to think of "Welcome to the Jungle.." and 80's big hair bands. Not sure why, just do. |

In a country that bases singing talent on what they've seen from idol competitions and where Taylor Swift is a multi-platinum 'artist'? - Tomahawk

Couple of big new additions to HockeyBuzz to announce.
Every Thursday, longtime NHL referee (and former NHL player for the Nordiques) Paul Stewart is doing an "inside refereeing" blog in the top center portion of this site. Stewey is one of the game's great colorful characters -- and was a pretty damn good ref -- and this should be a blast.
Every Wednesday, longtime Flyers defenseman Brad Marsh is doing "inside the life of an NHL player" blogs based both on his experience as someone who played over 1,000 games in the NHL and also his observations on the how the game has changed (or stayed the same) in the 20 years since his retirement.
Brad, like Paul, is one hell of a good guy with a huge heart and strong beliefs about the game. These should be entertaining reads and a huge upgrade to the depth and visibility of our center-space blogs.
