Philadelphia Flyers

Their poor beginning was made clear enough by the firing of coach Peter Laviolette just a couple of games into the season. Problem is, so far very little has changed with Craig Berube behind the bench. The one win the Flyers have picked up came at home against the lowly Panthers in a game in which they were outplayed and had some good fortune. Otherwise it's been a dumpster fire in Philly.

Must have just missed you, I was at the range on Tues. My mom flew in from Texas and I had a 3+ hour private lesson from a CHL instructor. Corrected everything, stance, grip, aim... I was a bit rusty. And it's interesting when you break down your gun three times at the range while everyone else is shooting... My mom can be hard core, hahaha.

Going back to the game tonight though, I think I'm going to need somebody to hold me...

That's true when looking at the bottom line. But when looking at the process that this team is going through in trying to get things turned around, it's not the only analysis that matters. I wouldn't expect the team to turn everything around with the flip of a switch. It didn't get this way overnight. It's not going to be fixed overnight. So I don't see just looking at the standings as a complete analysis of the state of the team.

Nothing concrete on Vinny's return. Current rumor is he should be back after this break so 10/24. Hartnell should be out another 2 - 4 weeks though.
