Is the 271st picked player fluent in English?

yak isn't

- BigDre

That's OK neither is anyone at Dunkin Donuts. He'll be fine in Boston.

I'd love for Philly to be invovled but somehow I feel like Mezsaros and picks are just not going to cut it. I'd throw in Hartnell, but I don't see that happening. I also don't see them trading Emery who just resigned here and Mason has been their best Player thus far.

All in All I think Ryan Miller and couple defensive prospects is where Edmonton needs to go with this. IF Miller agrees to an extension.

- flyler

Well, as far as I'm concerned, if it's Miller coming back, it's Hesmky and a prospect like Gernat going back. This isn't because I value Hemmer highly, it's the opposite, in fact.

Pending UFA who almost definitely resign for pending UFA that has a chance to resign + a prospect.

yeah no mystery as such but no reason to trade yak at this point.
- Morris

Oilers have 4 good young forwards locked up long term. Yak makes the most sense right now.

Stafford has like no value (especially at his cap-hit), Myers is barely a top-4 Dman anymore, and Miller is a UFA at season's end. Talk about trading garbage for value.

Exactly, nothing wrong with grabbing another lottery pick this year. Keep building...
- Symba007

Since there's no way to grab a goalie without trading Yakupov, and we'll definitely finish last if we keep him... I guess you're right! You've covered all the angels.

That's why I was saying IF Miller agrees to resign in Edmonton as part of the deal. Buffalo is looking for youth, which is why they are trading Miller at all. It's not that Hemsky isn't going to cut it, it's that he's the type of player the Sabers are trying to get rid of.

At the time, those players looked A LOT better than they would prove to be. Also, Kovalchuk was a UFA that had expressed interest in going to FA.
