The Bruins don't have anything that helps the oilers now and they need to improve now.
- Fountain-San

At the size you are, with goalie equipment, there would be no space left. Too bad you can't stand up for 60+minutes.

B's could give up Spooner, Morrow (or Hamilton), and Batrkowski..that is not the issue.
Cap space is the issue.

well if you're willing to wait for a goalie to develop you can have subban. but you guys need to get better quick.
- Fountain-San

Subban might be good but its right now that we need to attend to.... Hamilton would be nice as well...can blame some on the defense as well but its the goalie that is costing us games... we can score goals... just cant keep the puck out of our net... and some of the shots from the blueline etc... those should be stopped dammit...

Chiarelli RARELY makes blockbuster deals. I think he used that once this year. Also what in Boston lands Yakupov?

Rask will not be dealt. That leaves Subban and Svedberg neither are a immeadiate help to them.

Hamilton would have to be in the deal

This is nothing more than Ek trying to cash in on the Yakupov hype. None of these things had happened according to anyone credible.

Yeah, defense hasn't been our problem so much as garbage goaltending. If you watched the games, I wouldn't have to tell you this. At least 1/3 (if not 1/2) of the goals allowed so far this year were goals that should've and would've been stopped by an average NHL goalie.

The Flyers with interest! SHOCKED that they somehow found their way into yet another Ek rumor. Stay tuned tomorrow for, "Flyers talking to Patriots about Brady", "Flyers in on Debt Ceiling talks" and "Flyers closing in on Guy Lefleur"

Yep. There's no middle ground between not wanting literally any NHL dman and thinking that our Dcore is amazing.

I was being facetious. I think you're right though - it will be difficult for anyone to have what they would want/need.

On paper it sounds neat but Julien would be this kids worst nightmare. All he wants to do score and doesn't care too much for other aspects of the game. He won't work in Boston.

Not sure Gorges would be the best route. I think it would be too much to lose off the ice.

I'd say give them Beaulieu. Would hate to lose him, but hopefully Nygren keeps progressing on the smaller ice.

- ehabs9

Tinordi will be a bigger version of Gorges. I wouldn't mind sending Beaulieu instead but I don't think Edmonton would accept. Not saying that I want to trade Gorges but you have to give something to get a guy like Yakupov.

Define - ton...

IMO, Yak isn't worth more than a top 4 player(O or D), a top prospect and a number 1 pick, and that's being generous.
