No knock intended against McGill. But when he's playing over 19 minutes in the game, and he's the team's best forward. There's an issue. Giroux is not scoring but he's also horrendous defensively. A lot of players have been scapegoated, but he's the biggest goat this Season to this point. The Canucks 2nd goal is highly annoying. Both Giroux and Coburn watched Higgins, and nobody picked him up.

OK. Deep breath. I was about to go off, but it's the internet and nobody cares.

Vincent Lecavalier will be back soon, and that will (hopefully) help. They played better tonight.

There will be opportunities to upgrade this team, with Timonen and Meszaros coming off the books and the cap going back up.

I'd like to see them be aggressive and get another scorer, but I understand all of those who feel the team should just wait, not burn any assets for a flawed team.

So, OK then. Just...gonna have to wait for them to get themselves out of it, or their replacements.

Well pick 3rd after we finish last and lose the lottery. We are 7 games in and 8 PTs back of the penguins. Ought to be fun Thursday when we play another team that can score more than 1 goal a game.

i'm going to stick with them for the first quarter of the season. if they're like 3-15-2 or something by then, i'll just move on and watch other teams just to keep myself in the loop. i am not going to waste my time watching another season of nonsense. i don't have the energy, or frankly the interest.

Maybe its time to move G to wing when VL comes back with McGinn on the other wing. The way Giroux is playing defensively he is killing us at center.
