this PP sucks
- FlyerGuy

Couturier looked really bad. He seemed like his feet were in cement, and every pass or shot he tried to make was blocked (at least it seemed that way).

you can only hear them when they are booing. because they're all negative (frank)s like the rest of you

(not aimed at you particularly, sir)

- FlyerMike18

The boos resonate in the naturally occurring negatively charged particles in philly air, which makes the boos sound much louder than they are. It's like feedback through a speaker during the powerplay.

Live too far away so no idea.

Its the one thing I will give the Jets. I went to a game once against the Flyers and the cheering/chants were non stop almost.

I live in buffalo. Whenever I go to sabres game crowd is active. Dancing chanting talking. Every time I go to Philly crowd just sits there until something happens or break in play Organ plays or music. You can see it on tv also. For the most part anyways.

the passing of other teams looks so superior to that of the Flyers.

Every time Voracek tries a cross-ice pass through two or more defenders and it gets picked off, they should bench him for a shift. If he passes up a shot to do it, make it two or more shifts.

That's the only way he's going to stop doing it. It's every bit as bad as Simmonds' turnovers due to poor stickhandling/puckhandling. Every bit as bad.

I couldn't agree more, his calm demeanor is light years better than Bryz's scramble-around-when-am-I-gonna-flake-out BS.

He's letting the fact that I've traded him 26 times on HockeyBuzz get inside his head.

Tye McGinn is showing this team how to score. Skate hard to the net.

Yes. I'm very happy with his play. His puck handling has been a little off tonight even if u discount the one bad Bounce goal.

Overall I am really starting to see some signs of life from read. Talbot roux dogg and jake. As mentioned like to see more from simmonds and Schenn. Streit has moved the puck well IMO. Pp absolutely looks like a mess. A group of 5 atom players looks more organized than this bat poop

Both could stand being benched a shift or 2, I'm tired of watching them make the same mistakes and bad decisions over and over again

I think this kid is going to stay up. I know everyone loves Rosehill and newberry (sarcasm)but I think one may have to sit...

Per various twitter feeds, Dan Boyle taken off on a stretcher after hit from behind by Lapierre.

Also, many reporting Pacioretty went down with a bad looking knee injury.

Haven't seen either one myself yet. Anyone?

They should sit. Rosehill is on the team as the 13th forward. Play McGinn on the 4th line, or the 3rd line. Keep playing hard and going to the net.

Do you have that kind of magical power? I would rather you use it to get us some goals instead of jinxing him.

What makes it even worse is that those are the kinds of turnovers that allow teams to come at our defense "at speed."

Our defense has certain qualities about it that are good. For one, they play hard, will block shots and take hits to make plays.

But they are not good at "turn and go," and they do lose coverage when teams come at them with speed.

When Voracek does that multiple times a game...that does more to expose our defense to situations that they aren't as good with more than any other player on the team right now.

When Vinnie comes back in after the break, I would go with:
McGinn-G-Voracek
Schenn-VL-Simmonds
Talbot-Coots-Read
Raffl-Hall-Zak

when Hartnell comes back a couple weeks later, assuming McGinn is still playing well, I'd put Hartnell with Coots and Read and drop Talbot down with Hall and Rinaldo
