You know, I hate to admit they look pretty good tonight.

Passes are getting better, and they are skating better.

Voracek, Read, and Giroux are looking close.

Just need to see some actual results. Simmonds is doing nothing.

WHat the hell was Simmonds trying to do there?
- flyer_nutter

I don't know who has been more frustrating to watch in this game. He or Read? They sure don't seem like the same players as they were in the past. Then again, not many on this team have!

Flyers need to pick up the pace a bit
- BiggE

I think the Flyers are playing pretty well ... just the Canucks transition game is scary good at times.

I've been in libraries noisier than the WFC tonight.
- Raven728

I mentioned this a few years ago on here.

Place has been quiet for more than just this season. Or so it seems anyway, when compared to other arena's you see on tv.

Mason playing very well. Reese is working well with him

Goaltending not an issue for this team right now.

Rosehill and Raffl if it was up to me
- BiggE

Newberry and Rosehill if it were up to me. I'd keep Raffl and McGinn

McGinn show take over as coach. He's the only player who knows where to go to get goals.

I never agree with you. Until now.

Newberry and Rosehill are pointless. Let Raffl and McGinn show what they've got. It's a no lose situation for the Flyers with those two.

In similar situation, Read tees it up tries to score from the blue line, and the puck winds up right back out of the zone. He had two teammates going toward the net. If he had kept it low and on net, they get to battle for a rebound instead of turn around and backcheck.

I've noticed that too. It's dead in there unless prompted. Going to the game it's worse. What happened?

I'm getting that warm tingly feeling.

That Giroux boner.

I think the time is near.

I havent seen much from Raffl, nor can I see keeping him up to use on the 4th line. He'd be better off getting more ice time with the Phantoms. Besides unless a trade is made, Mcginn would replace Talbot in the top 9 and the 4th line be Talbot-Hall-Rinaldo

I think part of it is how the mikes on the Flyers telecasts pick up the crowd noise.

I remember watching one game last year on CSN, but also watching the away feed on Center Ice. (Rangers game I think) ... and the crowd noise on the away feed seem MUCH louder on Center Ice.

This.

I don't mind a good fight, and I admire grit. But this team needs to dress any and every player who can skate shifts at even strength and be productive, at least until they (hopefully) pull themselves out of this ditch they are in.

Live too far away so no idea.

Its the one thing I will give the Jets. I went to a game once against the Flyers and the cheering/chants were non stop almost.

I hardly ever get the home announcers. I can assure you that the crowd sounds dead on every feed, unless its an away game. Panther fans sound louder.

I think it makes the game feel boring.

Agree newberry is useless but I still believe in carrying a fighter on you're roster. Don't have to play him every game but the threat has to be there.
