Rumors, and rumors. What kind of bullpoop is that? Who wants to hear what some moron on twitter thinks the Flyers will do. Ohh god, I will maybe hear about it a week before it happens. Get the Kleenex ready boys im ready to cream.
Maybe they should go to a practice and report to us on what is being worked on, who is doing good/not good etc. |

Valid?
http://www.csnphilly.com/...-after-laviolettes-label? - isaiah520
No. He was going to draw attention any way. He was in the top three in scoring. Laviolette could say he was a god and it wouldn't have changed a thing. While the analysis is pretty firm the quote's a toss away as far as his play goes. |

Would you have preferred them to bring in a top six winger rather then Vinnie and continue to allow B Schenn and Couts develop as the 2nd and third line centers?

The thing with the penalties Is I don't mind them to a degree.
If its stuff like interference, roughing, goalie interference, charging, I don't really mind.
Its when you get into the hooking, tripping and holding where I have issues. A product of that is the lack of team speed, and always chasing.
The Flyers play better when the game is chippy, always have. Its that second group of penalties they have to clean up. |

I'll take his energy, hits and penalties any day over high-priced players with lazy passes and zero to one point so far this season. |

I see him trying, and trying to do too much on his own. I have questioned the effort level of this team, but will admit many nights Giroux is one of the best one's in this department.
I think its a mix of too much pressure, and having poopty linemates. With Voracek I expect him to get back into form, but the idea of playing him with Simmonds/Hartnell was moronic.
Two guys who cant handle the puck to save their lives. Shut down Giroux and the line is killed. Give G time, he will come around. |

I tend to think the finger injury and subsequent lack of preseason games has more to do with it that something Laviolette said 18 months ago. |

I'm not worried about the ability to produce with G and Voracek playing together. There is enough talent there to lead many teams in scoring.
It's the lack of passion or focus or confidence, whatever you want to call it that worries me. Even when the Flyers do score a goal, the celebration huddle that follows is usually pretty mild. The lack of scoring and lack of enthusiasm seems to be a vicious cycle of what appears to be apathy. No one seems excited about much of anything on this team.
Like this quote from Giroux - "... It’s a beautiful game. You need to enjoy it. It feels like I’m not enjoying it right now.”
Is he dying? WTF does that even mean? This is hockey, not the end of the movie Big Fish. |
