Per various twitter feeds, Dan Boyle taken off on a stretcher after hit from behind by Lapierre.
Also, many reporting Pacioretty went down with a bad looking knee injury.
Haven't seen either one myself yet. Anyone? - BringBack25

What makes it even worse is that those are the kinds of turnovers that allow teams to come at our defense "at speed."
Our defense has certain qualities about it that are good. For one, they play hard, will block shots and take hits to make plays.
But they are not good at "turn and go," and they do lose coverage when teams come at them with speed.
When Voracek does that multiple times a game...that does more to expose our defense to situations that they aren't as good with more than any other player on the team right now. - AllInForFlyers
Absolutely, turnovers made high in the offensive zone often lead to odd man rushes against and are guaranteed to drive coaches nuts |

When Vinnie comes back in after the break, I would go with:
McGinn-G-Voracek
Schenn-VL-Simmonds
Talbot-Coots-Read
Raffl-Hall-Zak
when Hartnell comes back a couple weeks later, assuming McGinn is still playing well, I'd put Hartnell with Coots and Read and drop Talbot down with Hall and Rinaldo - BiggE
This is what needs to happen.
Well said, Harts needs to be on the 3rd line. |

McGinn is doing a great job so far, obviously scoring 3 goals in 2 games. But he's not a first line Winger in this League over the long haul. When this hot streak ends, if he's left there, he'll become a scapegoat. Play him on the 3rd or 4th line where he belongs. And at least give the kid a chance.

Im not saying keep McGinn on the 1st line all year, but it wouldnt be a bad idea to start Hartnell on the 3rd line after a 4 week or so layoff |

Or Ride him while he's hot, and when he cools off move him down. He's the only player scoring and going to the net.. and you want him playing with Rinaldo or Rosehill right now?
Unless you didn't mean to infer moving him to the bottom lines right now. |
|
|
|
They should sit. Rosehill is on the team as the 13th forward. Play McGinn on the 4th line, or the 3rd line. Keep playing hard and going to the net. - MJL
or maybe a bit of both, with variation depending on the game situation |

If Grossmann is out I'd go with Gill, similar style and can fill the same type of role |

I rather have Lauridsen, on the count he wont die of lack of oxygen after one shift. |
