Oilers give up in two Games 46 shots and the Goalie stopped 36 of those shots.

To be fair jordie has looked really good. I'm not down playing his skill and ability, but throwing that 1st overall status around is kinda irrelavent. I mean I would take galchenyuk over yakupov and he was picked 3rd. I don't think oleksiak is worth yakupov straight up, but your acting like he just couldn't be the main piece of a deal for him and is a bust after 1 year and a few games.

They are (frank)ed in their own end it looks like a mess. Then need a solid two way dman that can shut down the opposition and move the puck out of the zone with out a turn over.

You might want to take a look at Campbell's career save percentage first. Only .912 in the AHL in 2012 which was his career high. Otherwise, even going back to Junior, its a lot of .900

I know who he is... and I doubt yak gets traded there. I have faith in JC. Pissed the stars took him before the oilers 2nd first round pick in 2011.

No one is saying the rest of the team has been infallible!
Not one post has suggested this.
Yes the oilers have other deficiencies.
Defence has been our weakest position for years.
And we certainly could use a two way defensive stud.

But at the moment goaltending is unequivocally our weakest link. We are not 1-4-1 with even average goaltending back there.
