LMFAO you are WAY overrating Yak in this. I doubt NYR would do Yak of McD straight up.

Or am I under rating Larsson

I don't know what that last "a" is but we are feeling pretty desperate right now. I think Lou needs to make a call to Gillis again since it worked out so well last time

Dear Yakupov,

Please stop coasting 95% of the time, please start showing a little hustle, and try to beat guys to loose pucks... Oh and quit trying to stick handle through 4-5 players.

Sincerely,

Dallas Eakins

I hope we work Schneider like a dog it's the only hope we have. The way things are going he will be signing in Pittsburgh as a UFA

Yaks and a second, to Montreal for Tinordi and they're first. Yaks can team up with Galchenyuk again, like they did in junior. The Habs get another Smurf with offense and the Oilers get bigger, meaner and tougher on the back end.

Eakins is showing growing pains but he does know how to work with young players. The only problem, the guys that he's used to working with, are not top 5 drafted players. These type of players have a sense of entitlement and I have no problem with him sitting one, when he's not doing what's expected from him. I can see Yakapov getting moved, to shore up the back end. You can only have 6 top six forwards, so one needs to be moved for defensive assets. There are teams that would be interested in Yakapov, but it would have to be a one for one and not a bunch of slugs coming back in return.

Buffalo needs about 8 or 9 players to get to .500. And a new GM and coach to boot.

Let's be honest... They do seem to shy away from high traffic areas in front of the net. I've seen a bunch of times when the puck could have been cleared or an opposing player could have been taken out of the play, but the Oilers just stand up and watch for some reason. It's like they're caught day-dreaming all of the time.

NJ Doesn't need a new gm but I like the idea of having another gm come in to give second opinions kind of like what Burke is doing in Calgary because Lou is just to loyal to guys that are to damn old to be playing. We could use Gelinas and Merril since both have great transition games unlike Salvador, Volchenkov and Zid does nothing but turn the puck over. I think the transition game is a big part to our forwards only getting 20-23 shots a night because they are never getting out of their end clean if that could change our forwards would be able to generate better quality chances.
