That's better. I frickin can't stand Pyatt or Boyle. Hobbit plays the body more than those 2 guys combined & he's a foot shorter than Boyle!!

I'd take Asham to come in and play on the Panthers 4th line. Ahhhh who am I kidding? He could play on our top line lol.

I like Asham! I didn't think he was playing that poorly overall. His stats aren't great but no one's are yet. I really wish Pyatt would have been waived/sent down over Asham. We have no muscle without him - not that he's a heavyweight but he's got guts at least. Even if they brought up Haley he's still Dorsett sized!

I went to all 3 games in California & the one in St Louis (little birthday trip from my family!) They played great against LA & I didn't think the team overall played real poorly in St Louis either after their first PP. But once Nash got hurt in SJ, they got so deflated & took the rest of the Cali trip off.

have to say a guy like dorsett can be a difference maker. he's a pain in the ass and distracts teams. he does his job.

new coach, new system. even if it goes badly and the season ends early, you have to give it 20 games. look at AV, Torts, Eakins. They're not all dummies but all of the teams are struggling with new systems. I don't know about other new coaches but Canuck games are jeckl and hyde like. Love the energy Torts has brought be defensively the guys are all over the place. Hamhuis has been the worst defenseman after being their best player. I think it's a combo of the new system and the team canada invite that hurting him. there's zero chance he makes team canada now. his chance was thin enough.

Here's the thing- if Sather TRULY thinks his backup goalie and a 4th line spare part are THE problem with his team, he needs to retire....

That team was constructed to play the way it played under Tortorella...there's a hint. I'll let you figure out the rest.

Alright, I'll give you another...during the Ducks game, my girlfriend, who is a Rangers fan, said, "why do they look like they're standing still?"

Unfortunately, he IS making a difference; only in the wrong way. The team he is distracting is the Rangers with his bad penalties.

2 players sent down? I think they are going to need to send more down or put on waivers. Rangers are a joke right now.

Send down Dominic Moore and Pyatt. Bring up JT Miller, Kristo and Kreider and leave those guys in the lineup.

- Mapleleafs_91

Wow, that's a no-brainer! Do the Rangers really have Domenic Moore ahead of those guys? Even Pyatt is a joke compared to those promising young guys.

AV isn't the right guy for players living in NYC. He lost control of the room before he even got there! lol

Its actually not that surpising how poorly the Rangers are doing. Take a look at how badly the West is pounding the East right now. I think its a combined 21-3 in favor of western teams. The East is getting dominated and the Rangers started off the season playing against 5 Western teams. Add the obvious upside down change to the system, missing the Captain for the first few games, missing Nash the top offensive player the next few, and the fact that the Rangers have been away from home for 23 days before they finally got back to Westchester for practice yesterday, I think its a little unfair to judge the team just yet. WAY TOO MANY negative circumstances. Even if everything was going well, just looking at how good the West has been against the East, probably says they would have lost most of those games anyway (at least compared with all of the other Eastern conference teams). Just me rationalizing.
