#NYR Michael Del Zotto is not making trip to DC with team today; possible he could re-join them tmrw, but doesn't sound likely due to the flu |

Old habits die hard. Any slight hesitation at the NHL level and it's going to cost you; especially on D.
It'll get there.
ould really like to see the
...and have more faith in guys like Stepan and Cally. I see our Captain seriously stepping up his game. Remember, neither guy had a preseason or much of a "real" traning camp. - mames11
I for one hope to see them sign Callahan post haste. As I have said many times before, give me a team full of Ryan Callahan's. |

Would be nice if they sent Falk down and brought up Conner Allen. |

Been told the #NYR will give Marty Biron some time to decide on his future, whether he wants to report to Hartford (AHL) or not.
Louis Jean @LouisJean_TVA 2m
Told Martin Biron will take a few days tu mull over future. Unsure if he'll report to Hartford or retire. |

Strictly from a cap standpoint, I hope he retires. |

This is not surprising. Clearly something outside of hockey has been going on with him. Let him deal with it & move on with his life. |

...or McIlrath - mames11
I wouldn't mind seeing McIlrath just from a toughness standpoint. Without Asham this team is soft, KID is balls tough, can he play in the NHL without being exposed in all other aspects of the game remains to be seen. |

Mcilrath makes the most sense when he is ready
he adds toughness and also that elusive right handed shot on the blueline we have been desperate for |

Thinking the same thing, there's the money to get under the cap when we're all healthy |

If our first round picks can develop into what they should it will really fill the gaps that we are lacking. Imagine if JT, Kreider, and McIlrath ALL stepped up this year... we will be singing a different tune about this team. |

Me too, they could really use him in that area big time. Especially around the crease area, someone goes near Lundqvist and the Rangers push the other guy away or hold him. Other teams if you go near their goalie you get pounded. He could definitely bring some of that.
But as you said, can he play without getting exposed? He didn't look too good in preseason but he seems to be doing ok down there. |

I've never seen Cam Talbot play, so I have no idea whether he can handle 20 or so games for the Rangers. With Bryz, he is a good goaltender, who can be very good to excellent at times. He's not the type of guy I want carrying the load as a number 1, but how many backups in the league would be better than him? For a $1 million bucks or so, I see very little downside with that type of signing.
Not to mention, I kind of like the guy. |

My thoughts exactly. He can play 25-30 games if we wanted him too... especially with the Olympics we need a quality backup cause Sweden is gonna RIDE hank. |

I just think Bryz brings an unnecessary distraction with him and it's his mouth. He didn't play well in philly and he didn'y help case by all the nonsense that he he talked. What happens here when he lets in a bad goal here and than after the game he starts talking about Aliens or the Illuminati? |
