I think it was a joke but what is the big deal? not one player back there has been worth sticking up for. The guy has 4 points and has probably been the cause of 7. Just because he has for points doesn't mean he has been good. The guy is 37 and makes mistakes that you could justify a 20 year old making. Exact same thing with Volchenkov. So he blocks shots. He could block as many shots as he wants it still wont make up for all the crap things he does. I just don't get why Devils fans are jabbing at other Devils fans when the only two players you can defend are Marty and Cory other then that the entire team has been pathetic to some extent.

That could be the case and throw age in there to. One thing is for sure no one is happy with what we have seen. I think if the rest of the division was doing better and we didn't have 3 O.T losses something would have been done. A message needs to be sent. Maybe start with sending some one down and letting a kid play or a trade or some bag skates either way whatever we are doing hasn't been working.
