me either. (frank) 'em.

In my eyes, Malkin is "eh".

Neal though......(frank)in James Neal....that whole Giroux/Couturier clown show....

I want his blood on the ice for that.

He's such a wussy piece of poop he reminds me Kasparitis/Domi so much that it's unreal. Only difference is Neal has a nasty shot.

Colorado sporting the best record in the NHL. Calgary a top-3 in their division and Vancouver on the outside looking in.

Give it a week or 2.

- jmatchett383

Other meaningless tidbits.

Every team in the metro division is on a losing streak except pittsburgh.
Every team in the central division is on a winning streak except Dallas.

Colorado has the fewest goals against at 4.
Edmonton and the Rangers have the most Goals against at 25.

Philadelphia has the fewest goals for at 8
San Jose has the most goals for at 24

Leading Goal Scorers - Hertl (7), Crosby (5), JVR (5)
Leading in Points - Crosby (9), Hertl (8), Steen (8), Lupul (8)
Best GAA with multiple starts - Varlamov (.970), Rask (.965), Hiller (.959)

I hate both those guys. However, Kasparitis would always take his beatings. He never backed down, although he would at times turtle. Domi lost all respect for me during the whole McCarthy/Berube/Burt/Richardson incident. But before and after that, he was one tough SOB.

Neal, on the other hand, just ran away and refused to answer Simmonds. And for it, he let his captain get involved with Hartnell. Pure scumbag.

Beautiful goal. And nothing would have made me happier than someone on the Rangers just drilling him and leaving him sprawled on the ice. I felt nothing but joy when Edler nailed him. You don't do that when you're up 8-2.

Honestly, I think the kid can do whatever he wants when the opposing team is just watching him skate to the net. Rangers could have played a little defense

Garth calling Ristolainen a super rookie....

Wut

- Giroux_Is_God

What's wrong with Risto, other than playing on a winless team? Or is that the 18 year old rookie's fault?

No no I meant he's labeling him a super rookie...you don't think that's a little bit silly?

Monahan, Mackinnon are super rookies. I don't think the still pointless (I think) Risto is a super rookie.

A good player that I'd love to have, and a promising young defensman- sure. But not exactly a super rookie

Ristolainen is only 1579 points behind Ray Bourque. Might as well just give him the record now, he's pretty unstoppable.

Buffalo only has 6 goals in 6 games.

Anaheim are 4-1 despite being 30th in PP% and 29th in PK%.

Good catch on Buffalo. I must've skipped over them while looking at the numbers.

In other news, with Biron on Waivers, anyone remember when Holmgren wanted to give him a 4 year deal to be the Flyers starter and Biron thought he could do better?

I hear they are renaming the Norris trophy after Ristolainen and really, it's the least the NHL could do.

I thought the issue was Biron wanted $4 million a year. And had to settle for $1.4 million on Long Island.

If its any consolation, the Phantoms PP is looking pretty solid. Lots of chances, but haven't scored yet. Sounds familiar...

Yeah, 'super' is pushing it. I'm still bitter he's not on the Flyers...

I think as a rule, players should accept any offer from Homer as it will always be the best one.

The Homer Special: Extra money, Extra years, Full NTC with a side of hash browns.

Can they switch the hash browns for a double order of fries?

Boston also has a lot of NTCs and NMCs. Many teams do.

The only one I have an issue with on the Flyers is Hartnell's. If security was that important to Hartnell then Homer should have used that to negotiate a shorter deal.

I think the Phillies and Flyers have a fear of letting players go so they lock them up early after their best seasons.
