I'd rather trade Bieksa for less of a return. As much criticism as we give Edler he has a pretty sweet long term deal. I would expect a monster return if we moved him considering his upside at both ends of the rink.

Rarely can keep the puck in the zone on a PP and takes 16-20 seconds to retrieve it and be on the move up ice again...the average nhler can do it in 12-14 seconds...as long as Edler is a "core" piece of our PP we will suffer in that dept. bieksa at least keeps the puck in... Might be okay to move Eddy, now that Garrison can play that role much better.

We will begin a 7 game Eastern road trip which I think we will win only 3 at the mot but believe we will win two. Then we come back and first game (Washington) back which has a history for teams to lose , and then we play the Wings and Leafs . So I think we win 4 max in next 10 games .

I wonder what took place with Welker. I mean its clear the organization had no respect for him. Year after year refusing to give him a long term contract. Maybe Welker had enough and didn't want to come back. Amendola is at best as good as welker but injury prone and not as clutch. I'm presuming the pats expected to have Hernandez and maybe even Gronk.

I think it's because Welker is one of the few that stood up a bit to Bill. Also, he was Tom's BFF so Bill had to put the both in their place.
