I'd do it without even thinking about it. Unfortunately Lou would laugh his a$$ off and hang up the phone.

We lost the games b/c we put no shots on. Net. Both games could have been won. But we had 19 shots and 16 shots and still only lost both games by a goal.

I would have preferred moulson stay home. B/c I have to say, on nights he is not scoring you see how bad of a hockey player he is.

Isles need to wake up before 2 game losing streak becomes 10.

Clutterbuck has impressed me at all yet.

At least bailey, franzy and. Okposo look good.
Hickey is a better dman than some of you realize.

Poulin was pretty good in. His game. He needs more starts. He looked better as the game went on Friday.

Can't blame nabby. Sure he let in long slapper but think about all the big saves he made in the game. He gave them every chance to win.

We had 16 shots and that's why we lost.

35 shots in 2 games = 2 losses

Moulson is what he is but has been worse when the other wing is Okposo. Okposo does some weird and stupid crap that I think is messing up JT and Moulson. Among other things Okposo is not a first line wing. Time to end the Okposo experiment and try Bailey or do what they should have done for the last 5 years and get a consitent right wing to play on that line.

Very good point! Everyone is crying about the defense now but how about the offense having next to none zone time in both games. We are playing to much defense which is why all of our D-man are getting exposed. Do we have a good defense? No way but it looks 10 times worst when we spend 75% of the game in our own end! The offense needs to step up and help them out a bit by keeping the puck at the other end for some time!

I feel the same way, that's why I didn't renew my season tixx this year. And Snow is selling everyone that he has the authority to make a big move if necessary and I don't buy it.....

Who was out there that the isles didnt sign that you wanted Snow to sign ? Part of the reason the isles are leaving the coliseum is because to many people expect them to be the Yankees and sign big time players and people make the argument against supporting the team because they don't. With all due respect, your argument on why you didn't renew tickets infuriates me. If you love the team that much and can afford tickets, (frank)ing get them and support the team. Your argument for not renewing (frank)ing sucks

Everyone here is complaining why we didnt get this guy or that. Really Sekera ? One thing the isles are doing with their salary structure is making sure they can keep all their players. Yea, PMB and Regin probably don't fit the long term plans but Strome, Lee, Reinhardt, Pulock, Mayfield etc probably do and when they get here, they can keep these kids together for a long time. Stop freqking out everyone. They have 3 winnable games this week. Lets freak out after that if they still look like ass

I have supported this team for many years during the good, bad and ugly times. Grant it, I understand the situation of Snow & Wang but after this team made a nice run last year in a short season, and look to be on the upswing of things. With all the cap room Snow had to even reach the cap floor, he could of became creative and brought in better players or get a better evaluation of talent on his club and realize who stays and who goes.

And just to name a couple of players;

Grabvoski - who didn't ask for a lot of $$$ and would be a good option for 2nd line C

Brunner - who has speed and skill and also didn't command a lot of $$$

these 2 for now are better options than PMB & Regin.

If you would like me to go, I could......but don't get infuriated when your buying the bullcrap and I'm not....

The bottom line is Wang will not invest heavy in this team until Brooklyn, so why should I?????

I think snow should start shopping Moulson around. Anyone think Strome ready yet? Does Cappy have the balls to bench Moulson?

I don't think everyone is freaking out, just frustrated that this team should be better than expected. As a huge fan, we all have higher expectations bc of what is being said by other NHL experts, and then we seam to be a little flat...

Those guys are better options than Regin and PMB. Not sure what was up with Brunner as 28 other teams didnt even look at him either. Grabovsky is a good player. As for our 2nd line center, there are about 20 teams who would love Neilsen as their #2 center. He's been arguably the best player on the team so far.

Personally I love how the islanders are building a team. It seldom works when you throw big money at players. This same formula has worked for LA, Chicago, Boston.

The Kings did make two big trades when they thought they were ready to win. I don't think the isles are there yet, they don't have the defense or the goaltending.

It's only been 5 games. Back to back in Chicago and Nashville isn't exactly easy but yes they do look flat

for the record brunner wanted a 5 year deal from teams interested in him...which is why he ended up signing a camp tryout...

Strome hasn't done so great in Bridgeport so far. Either has the rest of team, Bridgeport is last in their division. Forget about trading Moulson..it's not going to happen...he'll start scoring soon...jeez...

Really? then at of all teams, why did he choose a camp try out w/Devils? There are far better teams than the Devils to try out for.

Sorry but it makes no sense, going from a 5yr deal to a camp try out

He only had 2 goals the 2nd half of last season. Tough to give a guy a deal based on that performance when he was looking for a pay day

I agree Frans has been playing great, but he's no 2nd line C, and understand the Isles are building a team but also know Snow is not being creative enough with his strict limitations...

I don't know, but if you think that Frans is a 2nd line C, that's ok, its your opinion. But majority all know he is better suited for 3rd line C.

He'd probably be the best #3 in the sport or close to it. He's not a great #2 but I think he does a good job in that spot. Better than many in the league. If you look at production and versatility of other #2 centers in the NHL you would see that Neilsen is doing just fine there.

“@NYIslanders: #Isles lines at practice: Grabner-Tavares-Okposo; Bailey-Nielsen-Bouchard-Nelson; Moulson-Regin-Clutterbuck; Martin-Cizikas-McDonald-Boulton”

Interesting first line. I like the choices. Is Grabner out of Cappys doghouse? I hope we see that line get playing time.
