I have to admit that I don't see the point of paying a lot of attention to these kind of team stats. I get it on individual players (GM/coach evluation, etc) but using them to predict team results is absurd.

Yes, but I clarify:

I'm the Adam West Batman.

The Michael Keaton Batman was OK, although the one with the Penguin sucked.

And I haven't seen any of the other ones, although I want to see the one with the Joker by Heath Ledger - I hear that one is pretty good.

The sad thing is Yost used to be the best blogger on this site.

Agreed, he was always my favorite blogger, especially last year through the lockout. This stat obsession was even cool at first a little insight into another aspect of the game, but now its all he does. Completely ruined the content of his blogs.

no jokes last year i was at the ott vs TO game and i bumped into Eugene and we were up 2-0 after 1 period, and Mclaren just KO'd that polish guy...
