Reimer has earned his keep here so he should stay no matter what the capacity
- jimi james

You could do a hell of a lot worse than Reimer for a back-up, that's for sure. I know we're all on the Bernier bandwagon, but he had only played 62 games over his whole career before coming here.

He's got to keep this up for 62 games in a single season. Always nice to have a great insurance policy.

at least Quick got a piece of the puck, if it was on net it would have been deflected wide.
So Toskholela's was way worse

If there's one thing Reimer has definitely proven, it's that he's perfectly happy in most any situation.

The guy is possibly the most humble athlete in pro sports, and Leafs Nation has just decided to collectively dump on him. What has he done to earn the hostility?

He gave us three solid years, setting the franchise save percentage record in the process, but once we bring in a guy who starts playing well, we can't just hand the reins over; we have to crush him.

We have one really good goalie in Reimer and one playing even better. I don't understand what grounds we have for any negativity right now.

A player can go from savior to goat in literally 20 minutes around here. Toronto is a mad house.

I'm not convinced that Reimer's getting moved before the off-season. It'd take a playoff run to ensure that we have a keeper, and that in case of injury we're covered, as we don't have a viable backup.

At that point I think we'll bunch Reimer into a package whereby the other team would have to take all of liles' salary

He won't be moved for one simple reason: he has a low cap hit.

Depends on how willing Reimer is to play Harding to Bernie's Markstrom.

Definitely. If it ended up being Reimer playing in a playoff series, you still have a top goalie playing rather than some random career backup who played 20 games in the season. Reimer's numbers last year speak for themselves, you are doing okay if he is your second option.

It'll come down to what the market's willing to fetch us.

We gave up relatively-little to get Bernie, so if the best we can get is comparable or less we may as well hang onto Reimer until his value's higher or he's a threat to leave via UFA.

If they get to the point where Bernier and Reimer are both good but Bernier is a bit better, and look to trade Reimer...who'll need a goalie at that point? Philly? Edmonton? I don't know. That's what I don't get about this thing that LA didn't really have a lot of interest in Bernier aside from Nonis. Really? It's that much of a buyer's market for goalies? Doesn't everyone need one?

If Bernier is really lights out over the long haul, this could be big jackpot deal for the Leafs

Despite our cronic problem in net over the last few years the market for goaltending is quite bad from a seller's standpoint.

You must also consider that there are other teams who may be jettisoning a goalie in the next year or two.

For example, despite Andersson playing well for Ottawa, I expect Lehnar to be the guy for Ottawa within a year or so. Andersson will fetch a lot on the market.

the smallest capacity ps3 on the market is the 12GB which is still enough to load up the roughly 8GB you need for GTA V. he likely has an xbox 360 with no HD.

Meh, didn't know it had to be installed the 360
