Reimer and Gardiner do nothing for Edmonton. If Yak was going to be traded it would be for a #1 dman, or a top 6 Center with size and toughness...that's the Oilers wants/needs. Not a dman that we already have a few of and a goalie that is the equivalent of Dubnyk.

so in other words the team with the #1D or T6F would have to be cap (frank)ed in order to want to make the trade for Yak...and that player could be an upcoming RFA/UFA as well with another better player about to be signed to big$$

What's sad is Clarkson is serving 10 games for hugging a (frank)ing dbag that tried to beat up our star player (in the preseason) and Fisher will walk away clean for a hit from behind in which he had plenty of time to let up but instead decided to drive Franson's head into the stanchion.

Fisher is a first time offender, however I do agree it was an ugly play. Clarkson was subjected to a rule more than his explicit scenario. It's just poopty.
