The Rosehill comment was just to ruffle feathers based on the comments I've read the last few weeks.

As for MJL, I get what you're saying with his stats, but I'm going to hazard a guess that 80% or more of those goals are from him just banging in pucks in front of the net. Which is a good thing to have, but it doesn't mean that this is a guy who should ever handle the puck when we're trying to work our way up the ice.

You're right, Simmonds is not a guy who should be over handling the puck, or carrying the puck a lot. That's not his game. His game is working the corners and going to the net. Unfortunately, this team as a whole is not getting to the net enough. Not enough traffic around the net. Goaltenders are getting clean looks at the puck.

Well I certainly agree that in times this Season, such as for most of the 2nd period tonight, when the Flyers were chasing the puck in their own end, for most of the period. That does limit offensive opportunities. But the Flyers have had plenty of opportunities to go to the net. I agree they aren't sharp overall with the puck.
