It's tough beating bottom feeders that play their backup goalie on the second night of a back to back. I give them a pass. It's a trap game with Detroit tomorrow night.

Looked like he shot it right into his pad. Normally he does bury that. As a team they just aren't sharp. Passes are off, shots are off.

I think you have to blame the player there. No reason for Rinaldo to do that.

it's not berube's fault rinaldo lost his cool. rinaldo has to be a much smarter player than that, when given the opportunity to be out on the ice in a key situation. make no mistake, that last minute was key. they're likely to lose this game now.

Certainly put them in a bad spot. Because Phoenix is likely going to sit back now and lock it up.

He has 100% done enough to remove the "dumb goon" tag. He hasn't taken "penalty after penalty" for the last calendar year or more.

I like Rinaldo a lot and respect him for working hard with, literally, the NHL, to give himself a whole new reputation.

Dumb, brainless penalties happen to anyone and I'm willing to give Rinaldo a free pass here, no matter the sting of the result.

seriously Briere and hartnell led the league in dumb penalties. He has been so much better with stuff like that. Its just so glaring now because of the teams inability to score
