I only watched the last half of the game yesterday, but I barely saw Girgo or Larsson. wtf? Like double-shifting Ennis is going to charge up our offense? Play Ziggy till he pukes.

Grigorenko should be out there, too...we are not rewarding "effort" but results (DR or Ted Black said that) and if results are goals then #25 has the same results as Staff, Ennis, Ott, Kaleta, Porter, Larsson, etc....only difference is Grigorenko has not hit his potential yet.

I think there's a fine line. I mean he's no Melnyk but at the same time I don't think he really wants to pour money into a pit of fire so to speak.

The only thing I hit at age 19 was the bars. Safe to say he's got some left, unlike Ennis/Stafford.

Ah but I could say this.. I was a college athlete in baseball and can say that I was better at 16-18 then I was 19-20. May be a matter of he peaked early and now everyone has caught up to him.

just running without streching onw it hurts to run and im too stuborn to take a week off and rest it so i just keep hurting it every week hobble around for a few days then feel ok then go hurt it again.

I was at the game yesterday and sitting next to the benches you could tell how pissed vanek was after every shift. everyone else didnt seem to care like he does. mccormick got pissed once, ott looked so bummed.

Meanwhile on CBJ's side they were so amped up and energetic.

As everyone's parents has once said to them, we can say the same to the Sabres now...I am not mad at you, just disappointed...

Seriously though, the roster is a mess. I feel bad for the vets. They have no support. It's not designed to win. Tough situation.
