Its never an exact science with a concussion, i have a feeling 7-10 days from
Now we may get a report that hes not ready.

This sucks.

I can see his earliest return to the lineup being next Saturday against Jersey.

Joe Thornton would unzip his pants if he scored four goals

Hearing a question to Marleau about Hertl and whether he was showboating, Thornton said:
“Shut up, have you ever played the game?”
.
When the press turned his way, he then added:
“I’d have my cock out if I scored four goals. I’d have my cock out, stroking it.”
OK, then.

So I guess AV is looking to cripple every line, if one line can't score then why not every line

Adam Graves wouldn't have let Stuart off so easy if he was still on the Rangers. I know there are fewer & fewer guys around who have that concept, but my God, its Rick Nash, the Rangers best forward, show some balls, especially in a blowout. How does Dorsett & Asham not go Medival on Stuart or any Shark come the 3rd period of that game?

That was the most frustrating aspect of that game. After the 2nd goal, the Rangers quit. They stopped trying. That's what frustrates me the most.

personally when that happens I have always seeing the coach of the team appear angry about it.

Vigneault, I am still on his side here, but, I'd like to see some anger

I'd say earliest we see him back in action is next Saturday against Jersey. I think they play three games from tonight until that game.

What has me concerned is not when he will return rather how long he will stay in the lineup when does return. Concussions are so difficult to gauge and apparently it won't take much for Nash to be taken out of the game.

Listen, I get it, I don't want to see this team dig a huge hole early on in the season.

The last game couldn't have been any worse than it did: lose your best scorer, your starting goalie continues to look a little shaky and you almost allow double digit goals against; no physical response from the team only made it more embarrassing.

But it's only three games in; I know I am getting up there in age but I do recall the cup is won in June not October.

"If Nash is back in a game or two with no setbacks, then yes, it's likely fair. If not, then this gets into a broader discussion as to whether suspensions should be tied how long a player is out"

No this is absolutely ridiculous and should not even be considered as the length of a players absence due to injury, can in no way be proven that it was solely due to offending play by a particular player. In the course of a regular 82 game schedule, practices and what the player does off the ice, any one or a number of things could contribute to how long a player is out, due to the single suspend-able infraction. Could be entirely a result of the single head shot, or have other underlying factors. No way to prove it so it should remain based on a players history of suspensions, and the type of play on the ice that lead to the infraction.

What context? The one where you implied nash is injury prone and will never play a full season and suffer from concussions for the rest of his career?

If you were being sarcastic, then I apologize.
