I think you underestimate the Flames work ethic and young talent. If the Habs don't play a great game, Flames could easily surprise them.

and the Habs haven't won in their last 7 games in Calgary.

The Flames and Habs did not meet last season after Calgary took both encounters during the 2011-12 campaign. The Flames have won three straight and six of the past seven meetings overall and are looking to avoid their first home loss to Montreal since Jan. 5, 2002.

Calgary is 6-0 with a tie at home versus Montreal since.

Still say it depends on which Price shows tonight...
- Colin Dambrauskas

i told jtommyt i wouldnt say anything today so i dont jinx the game haha, but i dont think price is the weak link like perhaps last year. price has played very well in the first few games. in the toronto game there were easily 2 saves that could make play of the year.

that said i really think our d core has played very well, and i think the ball is in the flames court to try and break that. we limited philly to 22 shots and they boast a top 3 lines that imo are better than the flames. that said, the flames are young have something to prove so who knows. i think subban pots a few tonight, hes due.

the one for me tonight, i really like the way monahan has been playing! if the flames get a goal tonight, i hope its him.

Hmmm...

I do believe there was one wise Oiler fan in here stating that expectations were to great for Ramo and it would be Joey Mac that actually emerged as the starter for the Flames.....

Wonder who that was now....

even when we were tops in the east and flames marginal at best, flames win... something about the dome. that said i think because theyve been in town for a couple days, its only game 3 instead of mid season, this could be in the habs favor.

I think they may be waiting for Breen to get healthy and give him a shot 1st.
- TandA4Flames

I am good with that, big body but he will need some games in the "A" to get in game shape.

Like everyone else, just do not see what Butler brings or the why the management feels he needs to be here

I think it's management's way of securing a high pick...

Better than Cundari from a defensive standpoint. Which is saying something because Butler is pretty bad defensively.. Breen Could be an option but only if his skating is good enough to keep up.

Not much excitment round these parts for game day!...btw, have you guys all been following the developments of the youth? Guys like Porier, Klimchuk et al are doing quite well with their junior teams so far

You were right, Ramo is a complete bust. Well at least they gave him an honest shot, really, if you can't prove yourself in 65 minutes of hockey, what is the point?

and those goals he gave up to Ovechkin , blah... who is Ovechkin???.... well besides a 2013 NHL All Star at Left AND Right Winger!

Never said he'd be a bust. Just thought Mac would be the best of them. For now anyways.

Friendly bet time - Ramo takes over as the starter and plays at least 4 games in a row, in 3 games or less from tonights game.

Loser changes their avatar to the opposing teams fanbase for 24hours.
