lol that was worth a good chuckle...
I think the Flames will outmuscle the Habs, but the Habs will outskate the Flames. Calgary comes out with the first goal or two, but Montreal comes back...it will all depend on how Price plays if they win by a few goals or not imo, but Montreal takes this one. - Colin Dambrauskas
3-2 Flames with a 3rd period comeback. |

How ya been dude?
I love that line of Eller Galagher and Galchenuk (sp) - whipper334
I'm all good except for being in Africa and I will miss the CGY and EDM games
That line is by far the best line so far and should be for the next few years. |

Completely agree that this one will be decided by Price's play. Habs should put up 3-4 goals, so if Price can hold the scoring committee to 3 or less then that should be good enough for the win. |

Playing J Mac defeats the purpose of a re build. You have to find out what you have in Rammo, Berra, Ortio and you might as well find out sooner than later.
Joey is a great back up, maybe the best in the league with his attitude and ability to stop gap, but he is not the future.
Speaking of the future, this youth movement is more talk than action. The Flames are the 17th oldest team in the league, slightly younger than the 16th Canucks and older than good teams like Toronto, Anaheim, Ottawa, Washington and St Louis.
Why have guys like Butler, Smith, Jackman on the roster when they could have Wotherspoon, Ramage, Sieloff, Cundari, Reinhart, Granlund et al starting their careers with at least some games up here.
Maybe that is the plan, but at 27.4 years average age, it is not quite a youth movement. |

Colin did you see the line change for the Flames? Jones back with Monny and Baert and Stemper back to the top line. |

13th in Age rank league wide.
And though I see your point about playing Joey over Ramo, why not build or develop Ramo properly. Playing him when the coaches do not feel that hes ready is not the proper way of doing things. Like they said - no excuses....we paid you more and we think you're the future for the time being, but if Joey is going to outplay you then he's going to play. Simple as that.

Yeah I don't think it means much. Both Stemper and Jones looked good on the respective lines. |

5-2 Mtl. With 3 goals for Pacioretty line.
Flames aren't even close.
Habs with three healthy scoring lines are too much for Calgary. |

The season is only 3 games in, so I wouldn`t get too caught up in this.
Smith hasn`t played a game, Jackman barely plays and the same goes with Butler. But the reality of the situation is that you still need some vets on the team to teach the young guys how to be a pro. There`s a fine line between letting the kids play and outright feeding them to the wolves. The season is long and there will be plenty of injuries to come. Those kids you mention will get their shots. For now it`s best they get used to pro hockey by playing lots of minutes down in Abbottsford rather than few up here.

I think they may be waiting for Breen to get healthy and give him a shot 1st. |

12 goals scored in 3 games. Not to shabby. Top 5 in goals for and shots for in the league. Our O may be better than yoh think. Its our D that stinks. |

I think you underestimate the Flames work ethic and young talent. If the Habs don't play a great game, Flames could easily surprise them.
and the Habs haven't won in their last 7 games in Calgary. |
