Hark.
I do believe I hear that big time hit by Peaches and Herb playing softly in the distance.
Reunited.
Miller and Pommers back together again?
Would it feel soooo good.?

Enroth is definitely looking sharp, despite losing last night he kept the Sabres in it. Makes me wonder where Miller is gonna go. Either way, the goaltender situation looks solid in the Buffaloooo
- Ledgermain

He still has to prove he can play solid for 5-6 games at a time for 50-60 games a year before I think there won't be a big drop off FROM Miller

Can we stop talking about goaltending?

We've had good goaltending since the 90s and we seem to focus on it no matter what. It's always the blame or praise of this team. "We lost because he couldn't stop that shot". "Oh that win was because they couldn't beat him".

We need to talk about our lack of scoring/threat in the offensive zone. The last time that we were good at putting pucks in the net was... oh, when we were winning and making the playoffs.

Goaltending is completely overrated these days. If we spent more time concentrating about puck possession, we wouldn't have to worry about defending. I'm not sure the front office is getting the memo.

I couldn't agree more...... This team has not had a "real" scorer since Mogilny left... Vanek is good but he is not a game changing type player....... The Sabres are 10 years from being a contender if they continue to insist on building with the draft. Of course it could be longer if Darcy is here past this season...

No negativity intended here.....

You know what is sad?.... Last night I sat down to watch the game and if I actually watched 2 minutes of the first period it would be surprising. This team continues to be very boring, very vanilla, lacks creativity, lacks intensity and IMO has less talent than any team I have seen in the last 5 years. I turned the game off after the first period. They do not inspire me to keep watching....... And I have followed this team from 1970 on....... When I prefer Murder She Wrote re-runs to the Sabres you know they just plain suck.....

This was an opinion only and by know means meant to give the impression of negativity in any way....

As an admitted Miller basher, Enroth may be performing..."well", but he does not have the poise that Miller does. There were sooooo many times last night he was looking behind himself to see if the puck got by him, and other times I noticed him looking around having lost sight of the puck.

I'm not saying it's abnormal for any goalie to do these things, it just hit me last night as I watched and saw him do it a lot.

I don't care what "poise" a goalie has as long as he stops the puck. Goalies are way too boring these days anyway so it should be refreshing for people to see a goalie like Enroth. I can guarantee if Enroth won 15 games in a row people wouldn't care how he saved the puck. For guys that played an eccentric style I think Hasek and Brodeur turned out pretty well.

That burst of speed and going between the legs had nothing to do with his line mates, that's all him.

I was mostly kidding but it just bothers me that they're the same age but as far as confidence and maturity goes this kid is light years ahead of Grigs.

Also I don't think Hertl plays with any of the stars on San Jose (could be wrong though)

he was playing with thornton and Burns on the second line... I have had him the whole season in my keeper league.... Totally winning my match up first week for me lol

I say trade Miller simply because I feel bad for him. He deserves more than this organization will ever give him.

WHAT?! you don't lke to 2:1 SOG ratio? I love it when the Sabres are in the defesive zone most of the night looking overmatched I also like it when they have a real tough time getting into the offensive zone.

Is it possible to hold a positive opinion of this team without appearing stupid or insane?

If you mention Girgensons or Ristolainen in the "opinion" then yes. Otherwise you'll just sound delusional

I see many positives with this team. We just don't have the talent up front.
