He's an awesome 3rd liner. It's a shame he's put in this position where he can't effectively do his job without hurting the team

It's not just that one game. The kid scored 2 the other night as well, and had a solid preseason. IMO, he's going to be the real deal.

They are the exception not the rule. People use them as an excuse to resign guys like Vanek or Miller. If we can land a top 5 talent or 2, with our D prospects our future is incredibly bright

I could see it lol. I'm all for staying positive, but at the same time I want to be realistic. This team isn't very good so the winless streak in my mind could continue.

Our offense just isn't scoring enough, well actually more like at all. You can't win games based on crappy defense and stellar goaltending. They need to score more if they want any chance of moving out of 8th.

The team will improve as the year goes along barring a string of injuries. Next year I guess could be worse when VAnek and Miller are gone.
