When you have a guy like Grigorenko who is floating and not showing any urgency on the ice, this is how you have to deal with him. I have faith he will turn out, but it's not good that he doesn't feel the need to play with deperation. Look at how Girgensons plays, 100% all the time. Grigo needs to show that

it's holding on to crap like that, that pisses me off to no end with this franchise

the team has A + fans in an A community and the product on the ice has players like staff that for years stand for the opposite of the WNY area

I agree that Staff should go. However maybe the captain has a say in it? I mean honestly what does it say to the locker room if Grigo is just put on the 1st line. I have faith he will turn out, hes just not ready IMO

i went to the game he was ok. most of the action was in the middle didnt get hemmd in to much. he looks like akid getting used to an extremely def. system

Huge difference physically. Mackinnon can play like a bull and is a powerful skater he's so much stronger than drouin and its better than forcing him up to early they knew he wouldn't be ready the first year why rush and potentially ruin what can be a great career? Not worth the risk

Stafford had a great game last night. Created handful of scoring chances, worked the corners hard, had a couple great defensive plays and backchecks. Its amazing how good of a game he has, and people still complained. Yeah yeah, he needs to be more consistent, but everyone does.

Vanek and Hodgson on the ice for what? All but 2 goals against this season? Vanek shouldve been involved in the play in the slot, instead of peeling out of the zone before our team secured the puck. Instead of coasting around actually skating to track the player down. But hes Tomas Vanek. Mr. 40 goal scorer. Mr. Captain. Mr Fan Favorite. Hes invincible from any criticism.
