22Schenn better pick it up. Only 4 games, but he hasn't played well at all. His minutes thus far indicate he's being used as the 6th d-man.
- PLindbergh31

If they're gonna pair him with Kimmo Timonen, I'm guessing those minutes are gonna go up.

I agree, he has had a slow start to the Season. But he's not alone in that regard.

Can count the guys who have played well on one hand.

10, 40, 35..... that's about it for the most part.

Well if they aren't going to make the playoffs, a high draft pick is the way to go.
- PLindbergh31

you mean like last year when we could have and should have had a top 5 pick. yeah...that end of the year streak REALLY brought momentum into this season. what a (frank)ing joke. the coach just got poopcanned after 3 games. i never want to hear about ending the season on a high note for pride and development of young guys ever again. it makes no difference. there's no (frank)ing carryover - certainly not a guaranteed one.

Just watched Hertl's 4 goal night last night, and wow that kid is amazing. He kinda just came out of nowhere for me, really had no idea who he was before this.
- JAKEw1234

That move was crazy sweet. He's definitely got a whole lot of talent. That being said, it was comforting to see the Rangers basically giving up defensive coverage left and right

Are we ready to move some young talent to get a young #1 puck moving dman yet or are we still stuck on how great our offense is going to be.

Except for the fact that the guy was standing there smirking at him as Berube made the quip and was making direct eye contact. That's when Berube added the "dumb question... get lost!" The reporter then called additional attention to himself by leaving the room saying "Excuse me, I'm getting lost." in stage whisper tone.

Bill, do you know if this is this Sielski's first time covering hockey? Sure seems like it.

I think the apparent issues with the Coach prevented any possibility of that happening. I still take finishing on a high note every time. But I understand your point of view.

I think Read has been decent. He even scored a goal, it was just stupidly disallowed.

ugly, ugly, undeserved win. This team needs to put on its big boy pants and find a way to get the (frank)ing puck and generate some offense. If Tim Thomas hadn't been a fish out of water on those 2 sloppy goals we got, we would have lost. This is the most embarrassed I've ever been to be a Flyers fan. Same problems as last year only G can't sniff a point and the pp is garbage. I anticipate several trades or a high draft pick. SMH
- flyerscup2011

From what I understand they manufactured luck by shooting the puck into the glass forcing Thomas to pull his groin and see the puck end up on their stick for the open net.

Or something like that.

I think he's been their best forward after Vinny.

I'm glad BSchenn has scored twice, but I'd like to see more.

people were female doging the second he went to UNH instead of turning pro.

i'll be patient with schenn. dmen generally take longer - at least that's the conventional wisdom. when jvr is near the top of the league in scoring, leads the leafs in scoring, and is a consistent producer over a few years, we'll see. i honestly don't even care what he does now. he's gone. i'm concerned with our players.

- hammarby31

I was very happy with Schenn last year. I am not unhappy about having him. Just wish it didn't take JVR to get him. I like Schenn a lot

See, you need to be in line when carcillo gets traded to a bad team where he'll see ice time.

I think B Schenn has been right up there with Lecavalier as the best forward. He's had a strong start to the Season.
