Some fan grousing is/was completely justified.

Talking about people wanted JVR gone yrs ago and now moan so much about trading him now, etc.

just be patient with Couts.

look how Eller has developed slowly

- Crimsoninja

Isn't that cool to see, how he's playing? They look totally different for the future if that kid has gone into Beast Mode.

why? let the Flyers trade him so in about a year the fans can female dog and moan about it
- nastyflyergirl

if not that, they'll find something else.

I thought it was pretty funny. Completely inappropriate, but funny. Got to admit, he does have a point. If Berube wants come out and say he's going to hold the players accountable he needs to do it. I also don't blame Sielski for striking out at the coach and the team. He was treated with a lot of hostility by the Flyers Owner and Coach. I could see where it would piss a guy off.
- Dkos

I thought it was funny too and I get asking the question, but I also get Berube's response. I don't think Berube should have to explain in detail if or how he plans to discipline his players.

Gotcha.

Just for the record. I was not one of them. I was in the "let the kid develop" camp - the same as I am with Coots. Heck, I'd reverse the trade with TO today if they'd agree.

people were female doging the second he went to UNH instead of turning pro.

i'll be patient with schenn. dmen generally take longer - at least that's the conventional wisdom. when jvr is near the top of the league in scoring, leads the leafs in scoring, and is a consistent producer over a few years, we'll see. i honestly don't even care what he does now. he's gone. i'm concerned with our players.

I would get asking the question if Rosehill got another shift, but as far as I can tell he didn't. I mean, what methods does a coach have to punish players other than benching them? Punches in the head?

Some of the best, most outrageous nights of my life. We were in the crowd that surfed Spike. Saw Cactus Jack and Terry Funk in insane barbed wire match

The "should I spank him?" comment was funny and a not so veiled inference that it's his business how he'll deal with it. Berube should've ended it there and moved on.

The "get lost" was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Thanks, MJL! Don't know what I'd do if you weren't around to clarify EVERY SINGLE THING I POST!

Because nobody on this board knows that Giroux and Lecavalier play center, or how old Sean Couturier is, or how many good lines are needed!

Come on, man -- give it a rest!

- AllInForFlyers

Well if you know this then what is the problem with what line Couturier plays on, and with whom?

My feelings exactly. There are definitely good times to look back on, I hope he pops up in the NHL again at some point.

Eh, maybe. Honestly, I don't have a problem with it. Sometimes I think the media feels they can jump all over new coaches to make them slip up or give them the sound bites they want, rather than the reality. Berube isn't having any of that

God Thank you!

A coach reprimands a player with ice time or lack there of. Maybe wait to see if Rosehill is dressed on Friday before writing a scathing article about a coach who just won his first game....? By the way it s his 3rd argumentative article of the 5 he's written since arriving in town on Monday. Mike Sielski's a Richard and it's going to be a real uphill battle for him to get player access if he keeps acting like this.

Some of us are realistic. Mason stole the Flyers a couple points. I think we're encouraged because we saw some changes implemented, despite the full effects being quite a bit down the road, in terms of better play.

I really enjoyed getting to see Huberdeau and Barkov. Those guys are going to be dynamite for a long time.

And Rosehill is a wasted roster spot. Zero reason for him to be in the lineup.

- Jsaquella

This is just not true at all, he got me 7 points last night! He needs more minutes.
