I am wondering if a French Tree would even burn correctly..
- bixll

It would burn slow and sensual. Probably sputter out before it was finished..

He's saying Ranger isn't a defensive d-man - he's offensive. I know he's offended me the last couple of games!
- BlowMonkey

he was one of the most reliable d-men in his own end last season.. sure he has offensive skill.. but his primary job is to protect his own end.

while the lines are all being mangled

why not try kessel and lupul together, they are the ones who led the league for 3/4 of the season before lupul got hurt 2 years ago...

try JVR with bolland or kadri - hell id even try the three of them together...at least kadri isnt being wasted playing 11 mins a game with Orr.

- big_dion

Oh Nelson........... now you're on the Kadri isn't being treated fair bus

David Broll

With size, strength and skating ability David Broll has all the makings of a future fourth-line energy player. Broll tips the scale at nearly 240lbs, which makes him a monster to handle. With his wrecking ball style, Broll dominates opponents with thunderous body checks. He has a high work ethic and plays a consistent brand of physical hockey that will make him a nice fit to a team’s energy line. He’ll need to keep his conditioning in check and continue working on his defensive game to become a more effective pro.

Hope that translates from someones imagination to his performance on the ice.

You can look at it that way, or maybe he was simply protecting his assets until the lineup is a little more robust.

10 mins left in third period..

you play your goal scorers.

if they are tired, call a time out and come up with a set play.

Goes to show you the large gap in talent between the AHL and the NHL.

Whatever happens during the season, I just want the Leafs to draft Jason Fuchs.

I working until midnight so I didn't catch the game - but I watch the game in an hour afterwards. In my opinion Kadri had a touch of snake venom in his game and by the end of the second period he looked like he was getting a bit adventurous.

Carlyle may have wanted to make sure he didn't go out there and do something stupid.
