Without a Doubt kadri needs work without the puck. Made some weird plays with it too (passed it to no one once) but i think he was one of a few who had any jump at all. Bozak got a lot of mins but didn't really do anything with them.

Felt that way too, but he was playing with Orr.

Shows there may be some work left to do on the Leafs in terms of depth.
- Pecafan Fan

Leafs had 4 guys out of the line-up, one of them was a last-minute scratch (McClemment)... No surprise that when a 2nd liner and 2 3rd liners are out of the lineup, a 4th line guy might move up to the 3rd. Especially if it's just for 1 game.

Does he ever?

Boat anchor for that 1st line. He had an opportunity to take the puck to the net, clear lane right there (shoot or take it to the net) and he just flipped it into JVR's corner. Play over.

yet kadri sits on the bench or goes for a shift with orr and ashton (ashton had his best game).

but still, orr is completely useless.

They scored when he was with lupul.

I think he had a shift (or at least was out there part of a shift) with kessel and that was when kessel had his best chances.

I don't get why kadri played so little (and with the linemates he had)

I thought Ashton was ok too.

Kadri had some mistakes and what not, but one of only a few with any jump but he sits.

I don't know about you man, but I'm done with Ranger. Was probably done after his seventh turnover in the first game against the Habs.
- AdamFrench

gotta give him at least 10 games but after that if nothing changes...hello Marlies!

exactly.

hes good for 4-6 mins a game, fighting once, laying a hit or two and staying out of the box.

id have rotated kadri with bozak and bolland so he at least got some quality ice time with the top lines.

my line up by the end of the month would be....

JVR-BOzak-Kessel
Lupul-Kadri-Clarkson
Kulemin-Bolland-Raymond
Ashton-Mclement-Orr/Mclaren/Bodie

Phaneuf-Gunnarson
Franson-Gardiner
Reily-Fraser

Bodie was actually on the 3rd line for much of the first 3 games. He was better than Orr was last night.

That just went to prove we had no energy out there. That kid must be solid to have Orr just bounce off him

What the (frank) was Orr doing on the 3rd line anyway. Head scratcher.
- bixll

Ya, I guess Bodie would have been a better option. Not much better though ...they need to get some bodies back.

poop happens, Nice to see the tender playing well. A 2-1 lose is easier to stomach than our typical 5-1 loses..
