My worry is if that was the Bozak who was playing for a contract last year. How lazy is he going to be now that he has a long term deal at big dollars........ ugh

BUT ACCORDING TO HONESTHOCKEY HE'S THE BEST CENTER FOR PHIL "THE THRILL" KESSEL?!?!?!?!?!?!

Looks as if I'm the one that dodged a bullet.
My fingers are in need of recovery after responding to all my friends bashing the Leafs on facebook.

I would have been at your mercy had we had a show down...

I remember when Luke Schenn was our best defensement for the first couple months of the season when he came into the league and as the season wore on. He fizzled out and got mentally tired.

Rushing a 19 year old because we are lacking viable options is not a good idea.

- Sheppy99

rielly is in great shape and can skate, schenn was a bloated beast with cement blocks for feet....oh one other wee difference, rielly has talent and skill that far surpasses anything schenn ever has or will possess.

Ranger almost gave up a breakaway with a brutal give away, then another give away what 15 seconds later leads to the 2 on 1 when he was gassed...
I know the guy hasn't played in the NHL for a while, but he played the whole season in the AHL to get back in game shape....if he doesn't improve a lot by Rielly's game 9, I think Rielly is gonna stay

- GardinerExpress

He's def not perfect but he has done a lot of little things well. He's not perfect but we got give him some time to get back up to speed. Ahl does not equal the NHL and he was gone for 4 years. He's has improved each game like BoBo says the first two weeks don't necessarily equal the truth. If he still sucks at the 10 to 15 game mark then we have reason for big concern.
Almost gave up a breakaway but was also the one who stopped it from being a breakaway.

We paid Komi WAY more to suck a hell of a lot more.
This is a trial and error for Ranger and the Leafs. Worst case scenario, we dump him off for a pick in a few weeks..

Technically Gardnier guy scored not rangers, just saying
- Yeti1181

I realize Rangar as was at the end of a shift, likely winded, I give him that, but holly poop, the other decisions he made during the game were minor league.
I'm on page with you Yeti, I would love to see the guy turn it around, great size, good speed, just reads the play poorly.
And as far as your other comment, the 2 passes Bozi missed were pretty low quality IMO, Bozak will be fine haters!

This and there is no way Rielly gets the big ice time Schenn got. I don't think easing him into the bottom paring is rushing him, even if he plays amazing this year he's 3-4 on the depth chart.

Well, a loss... it was bound to happen... Bernier was meh on that second goal... pretty even game though... Varlomov was awesome... our Power Play was awful... the 1st line just didn't get it going tonight... me thinks Rielly is here to stay... he makes things happen out there and isn't a defensive liability... Gardiner had a good game too... guess they're showcasing him for the big trade for a late 2nd rounder? lulz...

Hope he is treating his blow-up doll good......jerk.

Rangers timing isn't just a smidgen off...it is completely non existent.

I almost threw up in my mouth watching that first PP. just awful. When the avs got the puck it looked like the leafs were waiting for them to give it back. They were sloppy, not on the same page. When they didn't have the puck they looked like they didn't care to get it back.

One play that stood out is when he came back around the net with an opponent at least 10 feet behind, and he fails to maintain possession? I know I'm nit-pcking, but holly poop, that was bad.
