Good game last night fellas. Chicago, Boston and you guys are the three teams we generally want to measure ourselves against. All three of you have size, speed and skill. Hopefully we can continue to improve our game and implement more of AV's system. The early returns are good. Even in the loss there were things we were doing that we didn't do under Torts and that promises at the least a more entertaining style of hockey to watch. |

Hockey doesn't really start for this team until late October-early November. Veteran playoff teams always have late starts in any sport. |

Zykov was a 2nd Round Pick... just clarifying. I know because I was pissed when the Sabres passed him up for J.T. Compher. They blew that pick... even Zachary Fucale would have been a much better selection than JT, but the Sabres have a ton of prospects in goal already.
What would you guys want in return from the Sabres for Tyler Toffoli? Sabres need offense, have prospects at all positions and draft picks to spare. |

It would have to be one hell of an offer, I don't think Toffoli is going anywhere. He's likely going to be the longterm replacement for Williams when his contract is over. |
