No need for Rosehill. If they really wanted an enforcer to go out there in certain situations, just send Emery. That dude can throw 'em!

I just don't see what he adds to the team. There are better plays who can play on the 4th line. We could use more speed in that spot. Hall is very slow.

I'll take the result. But not happy with how they played overall. Steve Mason outright won the game for them.

The Flyers still aren't getting anything from their top players. Giroux is just downright bad right now.

And if there is going to be true accountability. Jay Rosehill needs to be held accountable for his stupidity in the game. As a 4th line role player, he can't put his team down a man for 4 minutes, in a 1 goal game. So he shouldn't play for a while if there is going to be true accountability.

To be fair, Markstrom didn't allow any goals.

No but Mason was better than Marksthomas and honestly, Mason had to make the MUCH harder saves

I'm surprised by the negativity in here. I dont know how you could expect them to look good tonight. I'm seeing a more cohesive team coming out of the zone. More support. There's definitely a lot of work to get done.

well lets look at the bright side, after the Toronto game some were female doging about the Flyers goalies never being the better goalie and stealing a game.......Mason did that tonight
- nastyflyergirl

He sure did.

If I'm Mason, first thing I do when I get in the locker room is hit Rosehill over the head with my stick, stand over his bleeding, unconscious body and scream "Accountability Mother(frank)er!!!"

I agree with everything here. I'll take the win, but they didn't look good doing it.

You could make an argument that they had their worst defensive night of the year.

I think everyone recognizes this isnt a finished product. It's nice they got a win, but they are a long way from being anything but a cellar dweller

Newberry did a nice job the last game so I thought he should have been in tonight. I dunno, how about rewarding solid play with another game?

Now that would be Berube frontier justice... The goaltenders have been strong all year, and it looks like we are getting stronger there... the rest of the team needs to start playing.. PP looks awful.. Also, agree MJL Rosehill needs to sit.

I honestly expected them to look better than they did.

I saw some improvements in some areas, for sure ... but thank God for Mason or we'd be 0 - 4.

Mason was brilliant. Baby steps. They got hemmed in quite a few times and didn't dictate the play well. They supported the puck more consistently, but they have a lot of work to do.

Jay Rosehill has less brains than a single cell amoeba.

Yea there was a lot of uncertainty out there, and some sloppy play. They had a morning skate to work on the new system and thats it. I'm actually pleased, a lot of the mistakes tonight are fixable going forward.
