lots to work on and hopefully they get two solid days of practice before playing again but all in all, a win is a win and it was badly needed

Gotta get G going. he absolutely doesn't look right at all

- nastyflyergirl

I get he didn't get a camp or anything, but Giroux looks like he just met up with these guys before the game.

Giroux looks awful. Flyers aren't really showing me much here. 2 gift goals otherwise they're losing this game.
- Pixote Andolini

What are you talking about? They have completely changed the system and they came out with a win. There was a lot of good things going on out there. The support in the D zone was very good and refreshing to see. The high forward in the Offensive zone was good to see. This ain't going to happen overnight.

And anyone else think B Schenn had his best game as a Flyer?

I'll take the result. But not happy with how they played overall. Steve Mason outright won the game for them.

The Flyers still aren't getting anything from their top players. Giroux is just downright bad right now.

And if there is going to be true accountability. Jay Rosehill needs to be held accountable for his stupidity in the game. As a 4th line role player, he can't put his team down a man for 4 minutes, in a 1 goal game. So he shouldn't play for a while if there is going to be true accountability.

So now we know the winning formula...

Old, rusty, lunatic goalie gives us two freebies, and the opposition gives us a PP for more or less the entire second half of the third period and we squeak out a one goal win only because of the stellar play of our goalie.

Nothing wrong with that formula boys and girls. Totally sustainable for an entire season. Lord Stanley here we come!!!!!!!!

(all sarcasm aside I am happy for the win. despite all the mistakes and stupidity, they did gut it out and hold onto a lead for two periods, and ugly as it was i'll take it.)

G is more than pressing. Can't put my finger on it, but huge contract expectations may weight on him.

Rosehill needs to not only be a healthy scratch, he needs to be put on waivers and sent down if he clears.

well lets look at the bright side, after the Toronto game some were female doging about the Flyers goalies never being the better goalie and stealing a game.......Mason did that tonight

No need for Rosehill. If they really wanted an enforcer to go out there in certain situations, just send Emery. That dude can throw 'em!

Lots of work, but another loss would have continued the mounting pressure on the team.. The do look like they are squeezing the sticks a little too much. Give Berube some practice time and see if he can correct it.. Part of the issue I see is a very non confident team with zero swagger. Need some wins to get that back.
