Can someone explain walking dead without giving away the entire first season?
- PhillySportsGuy

Zombies. Human Survival. Zombies.

Zombies.

3rd season is terrible though.

Has anyone else been watching Sleepy Hollow? It's become my only "must watch" show as of now.
- jmatchett383

So far only Dads and Black List have been much watch for me. I haven't watched Sleepy Hollow. I'll give it a go on your recommendation. Is it better than Grimm because that's what I was imagining? Grimm lost me about mid season yr 1.

I've really liked Black List a lot.

No, but I need a new show. Breaking Bad was so good. Anything else is going to be a step down.
- PhillySportsGuy

Assuming you've watched Homeland, Newsroom, etc.

A few you might not have seen...

The Killing.

Wire in the Blood.

Whitechapel.

Damages.

I can explain that it's wonderful. Just watch the first 4 episodes and if you aren't hooked it's not for you.

Thanks fellas.

HB is where I come to get talked out of climbing into a bell tower.

See, that's why I'm here too...
Vacation begins tomorrow. So if I'm not around, know I'm sleeping somewhere, or drunk... But here in spirit...

I watch The Killing. Very underrated show. It's much better to wait and watch at the end of the season.

I've been watching Blacklist. I like the premise, but it hasn't blown me away.

The Killing, first two seasons = 1 story/murder mystery...was very good. Excellent twist Great characters. Highly recommended to others. I have to catch up on the 3rd season.

You'll like the other shows since you liked The Killing.

Zombie apocalypse. Zombies mow lawns... First season the lawn maintenance is quite nice.

I think the third season is the best one. Characters are better. I won't mention anything else.

I liken it to Alias. It will take a handful of episodes before you realize the context. At least that's how I'm feeling after the first two.

No one up for American Horror Story? I shouldn't be shocked. I only know one other person who watches it. Last season was terrific but an extremely difficult watch. My wife made it through just the first episode and was done.

I haven't watched Grimm, but I've seen people say it's kind of like Grimm combined with the revolutionary war mixed with a small (very small) sampling of National Treasure.

Basically: in the 1700s, Ichabod Crane, a member of the American rebellion under George Washington, is slain by a man. However, before dying, he cuts his head off. He awakens in present day Sleepy Hollow, as does the Headless Horseman. He and a companion must stop the apocalypse. All the while, there are references to some of the "real" objectives of the Revolutionary War, which all revolve around stopping Armageddon. And it's fun to watch Ichabod Crane deal with present day technology; for example, finding out that a gun can hold more than one shot.

Has everyone/anyone watched Orange is the New Black on Netflix? One of the best shows I've seen in a few years.

I liked first season. Haven't seen the 2nd as it isn't streaming free last time I checked. When it is, I'll be watching.

I want to watch it, but haven't had a chance. It seems like I'd watch it kind of like the last season that I watched of Burn Notice; get really into into it, but having to make an effort to actually sit down through it at times.

I've never seen a single episode of "Walking Dead". Maybe I pick that one and binge watch it.

AMC runs marathons of every episode periodically. They started now getting ready ready for the start of this season.

It starts tomorrow at 10. The second season makes the first season look like Modern Family. I loved it. They could have left out the aliens.
