Yes, greased pigs are hard to hold, but I think people are focusing on the wrong part of the sentence. Have you seen how big Dubnyk is? Have you seen how big a dishwasher is? Is it unrealistic to think that Dubnyk should be able to prevent any animal, greased or not, from running into a dishwasher?
- Ryan Garner

No, I caught that. A beach ball, bag of pillows, or even Richard Cloutier would have made more sense. Greased pigs are just hard to stop.

I think Hall is developing nicely...... outside of that. The rest is questionable........

You guys have waited long enough. You should at elast have a playoff contender by now

- Sheppy99

Well yeah Hall was top-ten in scoring but I wouldn't go as far as to say the rest are questionable.

And, we just may be that playoff contender this year but anyway it was a full tear down man...

I have a feeling Mac T's trigger finger is very itchy right now. (frank) I don't know what area needs the most work. Center depth? Bottom 6 forwards? Defence? Goaltending? They all are pretty poopty after 2.2 games

I really think there is value in getting Bryz at the league minimum on a one year deal. He wants to prove himself again and if he regains his form, he could help get you guys into the playoffs.

Long term though that defense has got to get better. Way too weak defensively.

based on 2.2 games...goaltending or defense be the first priority. center depth with gagner out is what it is. like the fourth line, no complaints.

Size and strength in the top 6 first and a goalie to help. Then d, then bottom 6 I think

It's brutal and perhaps at this point exaggerated b/c that was not a bad first game by and large - outplayed the Jets in most areas except goaltending for sure.

But here we are it's looking bad, the whole team looks fragile out of the gate in this one. Getting a little better now.

Goalie for sure non of the Goalies are Number One quality, they both are just good back up goalies, and yes D as well the forwards will be fine but they really miss JJ.
