Hamilton got injured in the second, Arcobello play just under 13 mins and that's about where he should be for now. Nuge had a huge game for just coming back from surgery though. - nated81
Eakins probably shanked him in-between periods to show the team what was going to happen if they didn't pull their heads out of their asses. |

If he didn't give up the sh1tty goals we wouldn't had so far to climb. Every save is important, you zorch. - laughs2907
every save it's but he made ONE BIG ONE to still give the Oil a chance, something DUBNYK didn't do the first two Games, btw I'm not saying LaBarbera is a number one goalie,I'm only saying He did enough to give the Oil a chance as a backup Goalie. |

Hey, at you guys don't have Quick in net. - Nucker101
Currently 0.869 so far tonight, and 3.26 .893 his previous two games... Time for LA to trade him and get a real #1 goalie. |

Well played.
I think Torts will be good for the Canucks. They seemed to be getting to complacent. |

labarbera won the game but gave up 4 goals. he's not curtis joseph 2.0. the oil can outscore anyone but that's not the problem. defense and goaltending will sink this team if they don't fix it. love the young kids up front. mega potential but it's time to deal one for help elsewhere. hello reimer. - therealagent

He just received the puck, stumbled losing his stick, and the puck went into the net. While LA is on the PP. |

Agreed. I think AV will end up helping NY as well. No idea what to expect from Eakins as a first time HC in the NHL though. |

You were criticizing Dubnyk before the season even began... I can't wait to throw this back in your face 20-30 games into the season - laughs2907
I got your back.
Not that you need it, you seem to do fine solo.
The blind Dubnyk hate seems to be contagious. I'm not sold that he will be a great goalie, but he has proven that he has the ability and skill to be a NHL caliber starter. |

NY and Van were two teams who needed a fresh look for sure.
As for Eakins, I think he can at least keep the team on an upswing. He is a young coach with a young team who are all eager to win and I think they will buy into his systems. The D still seems sloppy and lost far to often, but there were quite a few personnel changes and some time is needed to gel.
I expect an 8-10 finish with a playoff berth coming down to the last few games.
Anything less should be considered a failure. |

He's our starter and barring any injuries, he's going to start 60+ games and probably post .910+ save percentage.

Nuge played just over 28 mins. Perron just over 25.
Eakins sure has a lot of confidence in acrobello and hamilton hahaha - JShack
