Flyers Nation ‏@FlyersNation 1m

#Flyers host FLA in Berube's head coaching debut tmrw. Grab tix for as low as $11 with lower levels just $28 here: http://tiqiq.us/QkX

Once upon a time, the Flyers were a top draw in the city of Brotherly Love. Judging by those prices...... no longer.

Sorry to change the subject, but how is this the result of a 4 or 5 year rebulid (honestly don't know when it started)

Really puts Burkie's work into context.

No its not moot. Me not offering a solution doesnt change the fact that he is not a number center n'or will it not make him the leafs 1C.

Fleury is a number 1 tender. Just didnt play last year.
Seems to be doing alright this year.

- Fakepartofme

well then there's really no point on posting the obvoius, especially when you can't be wrong since you don't have to back up your point. You can also complain about other things you can't fix, but it won't get you anywhere.

We are going to over rate him, over pay him, then sell him off for a #7.

Gardiner is over-rated by Leafs Nation, but that doesn't mean he isn't good.

But I'm all for trading him - if the return is good.

Phanuef, Riley, Franson. We can afford to trade Gardiner for a piece we need more.

I thought Gards played well against Ottawa. Sucked against the Habs and had a so so against Philly. 1st three games of the season and everyone is ready to ship him out? How about everyone takes a look at Ranger.

Myers is a shell of himself. He doesn't play physical enough for a guy of his size. Can he right the ship? sure. But he needs to be paired with a smart fast d-man.

well up front they're missing Gagner which kind of throws everything off balance. otherwise it's not too bad. but it's the D and goaltending that should look better at this point. but Nurse and Klefbom should help down the road. goalie, dunno what they're gonna do.

I've watched rielly play more than one game and base my opinion of him on a body of work not from the 'hype machine'.
- Barx

well he made some good plays, but he wasnt the best D man on the ice for both teams.

im not saying he sucked, im just not gloating about his game, it wasnt that great.

Gardiner has potential and played well in the Boston series but until he puts in a couple full seasons the jury is out, all we have to go on is projections.

Trade him if it makes sense. I don't believe for 1 minute Nonis would trade him and do a bad deal because "Carlyle doesn't like him"

given how raw he is and the fact that he's 23 (not old but certainly starting to get to the age where he should have his poop together as an NHLer), not sure you'll get the return that makes a trade worthwhile.

Nurse should be up there too. Clouts was very homerish with Klefbom.....it would've been scary what he would've written about Nurse, but in all honesty they've got the makings of a great top 6 forward group and 2 great pieces on the blueline, guys with top pairing potential in Schultz and Nurse.

He has played more games and accomplished more than Gardiner? Get him out of Buffalo and then see what happens.
