im not 'buying in' that he will be our best, but to say 'are you even watching the games' insinuates you think it is completely outrageous and impossible.
I think he has what it takes.....prolly not this year, but also not as far away as most assume.

i think your looking into the hype machine too much, rielly wasnt exactly impressive.

i'm high but i agree with him.. gards has the skating .. but lots of time he skateshimself out of possible scoring chances.
- derm10

I do agree with this. When Gardiner leads the rush, his MO is to carry the puck in, then circle the outside of the whole zone. I have rarely if ever witnessed him drive the net, or make a good pass in those situations.

When Reilly joined/ led the rush, he cut to the middle/drove the play to the net.

but i agree with the rest... if u aren;t willing to provide a viable solution then then bother bringing up an issue.
- derm10

because it's so much easier to say 'well you're an idiot and throw in a few ' then , you know, back up your point.

fleury is a number 1.. name 29 goalies better then him.
- derm10

and i agree he is, but my point is if pit could make a change, they probably would based on past year's playoffs. But i digress.

Look, Honest Hockey, I'm finally agreeing with you on something: Rielly is something special.

But when you make a gross exaggeration like the one I bolded above, you're making it tough.

And Trouba was the best d-man on the ice for three periods in his first game.

I've watched rielly play more than one game and base my opinion of him on a body of work not from the 'hype machine'.

I agree. He will be a great player, he currently is not that player, but he will get at least 9 games to show his metal.

I wouldn't go as far as HH , but I have felt from the get-go that he deserves to stay. He could easily be top four by years end.

Oh for god's sake, show some patience RC!

If he can't do so with Gards, how can we expect him to with Reilly?

Once upon a time, the Flyers were a top draw in the city of Brotherly Love. Judging by those prices...... no longer.

He made some pretty bad decisions in the first 2 but definitely settled down in the 3rd. Anyone with any hockey senses could tell that Reilly did some really nice things in the game as well and common sense that he would be a bit "deer in headlights" out of the gate. I think the biggest glowing report of approval was the fact that RC put him on the ice first pairing in OT - that says a lot cause if RC didn't have that trust in him, no way he is getting that OT ice time.

I think Reilly will be really good this year if he stays up the whole season....I don't think he will be our best dman though, not this first year. Maybe in a couple seasons though, I can see it.

your point is moot. How about offering a backup to your statement. I know he is not, but he fits with the cap, not being able to make trades like it's NHL 14 for xbox etc. Fleury isn't a #1 goalie but what can Pit do?

My point is, instead of saying 'you are laughabel, bozak sucks, etc.' how about a solution as to what you would do? Just makes your post a little more credible.

- clark_griswold

No its not moot. Me not offering a solution doesnt change the fact that he is not a number center n'or will it not make him the leafs 1C.

Fleury is a number 1 tender. Just didnt play last year.
Seems to be doing alright this year.
