Shorthanded goal from hash marks in the ranger zone going wide, flubs it and deflects it in the net. |

You became a legend here after you predicted that trade. - Not_Stee
Might be Peter Holland for Jake Gardiner if the Leafs(Carlyle) are serious about getting rid of him. Don't think that's enough though, the Ducks will probably throw in a high pick. |

Hey, I'm all for a Canadian team winning, but the Canucks came so close twice and couldn't repair their short comings to excel.
I'm not a fan, but they blew their chances and its pathetic to have a team that good and not complete the puzzle. |

Not sure if you're being scarcastic. But 2011 was very special for me. Im proud of the tems we've put on the ice.
MAny people say "youve never won it" while this is true, you cant say we havent had a couple of damn good runs over the years.
Provided the riot never happened a couple years back, I could see fans from other cities respecting us a tiny bit more. ( And I mean tiny, I know there is alot of things that people hate about us ) |

They were literally just a couple key additions to winning the cup, might be more involved than what I know, but I would think good management could put the missing pieces on the ice. Coaching was not the problem IMO, Torts will set them back even more. |

No I was serious it takes a good team to have that continual expectation. |

There problem in the playoffs, especially the finals, was tha top six guys were disappearing. Not there toughness, but no shows. |

True Canadian hockey fans don't hate the Nucks, I so wanted them to beat Boston and bring the cup home, even if its not Toronto, Canada is my home. |

I think they had a stanley cup winning team. I really do. Shifts in momentum killed us, Injuries killed us and most of all the fact that our team got intimidated after game 2 and were made to look like a bunch of pansies is what did us in.
We tried to fight back in the scoring side of the game. But when you're getting punching bagged by marchand and nobody does anything about it. Well then your team has a bit of an issue.
I dont neccesarilly agree these days the you "Must go after the rat"
I do agree they did it in that series, did it well, and got away with it.
I could complain about alot of things this club has brought to the table over the last couple years. But the one thing that angers me the most is how they wont stick up for themselves.
I wish the Sedins would just punch someone in the fukking face. I would be so happy I could die without a Canucks Stanley Cup. |

Oh for sure.
This site is built on that.
I'm saying when it comes to the finals, I admit even cocky leaf fans are rooting for the last standing Canadian team regardless.
Anyone who denies that must stop watching hockey after their team is eliminated.
That's too bad, BC the best hockey is yet to come. |

Yes but the window will soon be closed. And frequently getting pushed around by the Sharks aint helping there mentality.
But when you get to the playoffs. Its been proven that some teams can just flip the switch and go lights. Are the Nucks one of those teams. I doubt it. But I'll still watch ever game and cheer them on like its there last. Cuz, Well, frankley im a hockey fan.
And even when and if my team is eliminated I will still watch hockey. Because its the best most entertaining damn sport on the earth. |

By the way I appreciate the none bias appeciation. From a Leafs fan, I just about had a stroke. Not to mention that someone in the leafs thread attcked me for giving Lack high praise.
But lets let that issue die.
I like to think that when I hit the Leafs thread I am mostly respectful and understanding. So you are welcome here anytime my friend. |

TJ Brennan put up 4 goals and 6 points in 2 weekend games..He currently leads the AHL in both goals and points...dating back to last season he has 18 goals, 23 assists and 41 points in his last 38 AHL games..how can we not have this guy on the roster as a #7 D-man @ $600,000? |
