Are they seriously making a big deal of the spin o rama? Geesus get a life, shootout is a (frank)ing joke to begin with and now they are banning creative moves? I liked Dallas a good guy to teach the forwards but not one of the defenders that came out of his team, could actually play defence.. and clearly that is still the case in Edmonton... he will have difficulty as a coach in the NHL because unless you are getting goaltending like we've seen for the most part with Bernier.. and with Reimer over a longer period carrying the team defensively it just won't work.

For all the Reimer haters.. just remember that the Leafs had the 5th worst Goals For on 5-5 last season... and they almost beat the Bruins in the playoffs...

I wanted to see that too. Recommend it?

Honestly, I can't... Sandra Bullock is horrendous to me and her and George Clooney are the only two people in the entire movie... some intensity for sure... special effects were good... but I was glad it was a short movie...

I hope that's the case. But with our cap space, I don't see us affording a top guy and I definitely don't want to over pay for an average guy either.

Meh, Im fine with our team. I really am. I think we did more good than bad this off season, so I can't say we hurt ourselves to be honest. The only areas we need to spend money on is a #1C and a stud dman and the chances of finding those guys as UFAs is highly unlikely.

Apparently Clarkson left money on the table from multiple teams to play for Toronto. This tells me two things: 1. The Leafs are finally a desired destination for free agents. 2. Perhaps we wouldn't think 5.25 is a crazy overpayment for Clarkson if we knew what other teams were offering.
