Ya that kinda sucks, CBC catering to the population in the East again. But at least we can start drinking beer a little earlier that day. - LeftCoaster
I'll be lucky to get home in time to catch the 3rd period. F*cking CBC!!!! |

Canucks aren't at the Leafs level yet, maybe if we can acquire a couple of all-stars. - Nucker101

I love the early starts. For parents who take their kids to the games it's so much easier to take them to a 4pm start rather than a 7pm start. |

I can see Schroeder being traded for a solid Raffi Torres type winger. Gillis must still regret not locking Torres up after the 10-11 season. - james
I don't see Schroeder being traded for anything of value. What would any other GM be willing to give up for him? A 4th round pick, maybe a 3rd? He has no value right now. |

Raymond is exactly what this team needs. Perfect player to fill that secondary scoring role we so desperately covet.
Alberts + 3rd = Raymond? |

I think he'd have enough value to get a 3rd line crash and bang type forward. Hard to say, but there is enough of a sample size for a gm to know what the kid is. |

Stupid yahoo fantasy jerks.
Twice I've had to reset my password and already got hit hard because I couldnt edit my team the other day. I should be ahead in a couple more categories.
Wankers.
Somehow I clicked this thread off the front page and ended up posting on one of Ian's old blogs. Hows that for (frank)ing weird.... This computer is only a month old so its not from a cookie. |

Could happen with M. Santorelli putting up numbers. - SMP8719
I see Santorelli moving to winger when Schroader is healthy. Be nice to have a playmaker for the 2nd pp unit.
I think Albert's will be 1st to go as our line up gets healthy |

Albert's size is nice to have but not at the cost of his play.
It could take Schroeder some time to come up to speed, but when this team is complete I'd like to see this:
Twins Burr
Booth Kesler Santorelli
Higgins Schroeder Hansen
Weisse Richardson Kassian |

I say flip your 2nd and 3rd line wingers
And I'm very happy with our D. Stanton has looked great and Weber looked solid during pre season. |

Funny. Last week I tried to reply to one of lefty comments. Was sent to one of Angellos blogs from June 2012. But there was a bunch of posts from that RogerRoper guy. He was responding to all the posts from over a yr ago, telling the people how stupid they are - Bieksa#3
That is (frank)ing hilarious, you should have shared it. |

I think Santorelli can be a better playmaker than Higgins or Hansen, and Kesler needs that. |

Higgins Booth and Santorelli have all scored 20 in a yr. but Booth and Santorelli did it together and Higgins last 20 goal season was 9 yrs ago with the Hab. |

Fair enough. Schroader is more of a passer so I figured he would work better with them. |

If Hemsky can't hit an open net with Brodeur off someplace taking a phone call from his mistress, this is gonna be a long season.

Even if he could I think its gonna be a long season. (frank) they look awful.. is there any positives? 4th line maybe. Eberle and Hall look awful. Ferense looks over matched as a top 4 on a bad defensive team. Goaltending is laughable |

Similar to how I'm not doing cartwheels after beating tow bottom feeders, I think it's a bit too early for the Oil to hit the panic button. That said, if this sort of form continues past 15 games it may be time for MacT to rethink his strategy from top to bottom if he has hopes for this season apart from another high draft pick. |
