Whats the specifics on the 9 game rule? I know its an OHL thing but what is it? Risks outside the obvious - he's not ready? |

If he goes down he can't come back up until the season is over in the OHL. |

Does that include Abbotsford? So he stays in Calgary no matter? |

He can't go to Abbotsford this year. It's Calgary or the OHL. The OHL wouldn't exist if players could. Some rule the OHL put in to prevent players that can't make the big club jumping to the AHL. |

In an NHL/ CHL/ CBA agreement, not just OHL, if a player plays his 10th NHL game he burns the entire first year of his ELC, which means if you don't keep him you've pretty much wasted a year.
You can still send a junior aged players down, but they have to go to their Junior team. There a few things that trump this, the Seiloff one being an example ( he was drafted when playing for the US development team with a letter on intent to go to college but went to Junior instead) and if you play 4 years in junior and are 19 you can go to the Minor leagues |

3 goals and 3 assists in 3 games. 2 of the goals were game winners, one of them was short handed.

Wipper, it looks like your block voting for Fall Out Boy didn't pay off, and niether did mine for Rage
Monster Truck (what they played last night) would have been my second choice though. |

Roy, Kilmchuk, Gordon and Poirier, all leading their respective teams in scoring, Kulak is second in team scoring. Heck, even Rushan Rafikov has 3 points in 6 games and is a +8 for Loko Yaroslav in the MHL (Russian development league). |

I love watching the games but these close games where we clearly out work the other team are taking a toll on the old ticker |

I got some interesting looks when I jumped out of my chair last night when they tied it with 19 seconds left. Unfortunately they couldn't close it out but it was a hell of a game. |

Yep looking good there bud...at least now we have a future to dream about, before it was just what kind of mediocre poopstorm do I have to waste an nhl center ice package on. Someone owes me some cake for that drainpour |
