I wouldn't want to get in a dust up with Grant. That dudes crazy to the core.

He spent a majority of his early years here.

Edit: perhaps not a majority, but he was here.

For the record, I did not hack canadianpenfan's account to post that.

Late to the party but-

Glass looks faster this year and game 1 was the best game I ever seen him play.

Fleury is always good in the regular season but I think he could get the Pens another spot on the SC if the defense is improved.

Kobasew has been good but to me having Bennett who is on the verge of being a stud really helps. I think Sutter is going to get paid thanks to these two!!!

Maata I need to see more. He looks OK but haven't seen anything that makes me say this guy is our top D prospect or top 4 even in the NHL. Not saying he won't be and I know he's only 19 but the way others really talk him up I haven't seen yet.

Wild third period in Edmonton tonight....

I've always thought that David Perron would look great with Crosby. He's one of those players tha the puck just seems to follow him. And he has sick mitts.

Absolutely. I really think he's making a difference for them already. The shootout was great. He mimicked Eberle with the backhand almost to a T

Not sure what NJ was doing though. Clowe in the shootout? Yikes

Jagr has never been a fan of the shootout. I remember him specifically asking not to be used when he was in NY.

Also I have never been a fan of Perron, I think it was smart for St. Louis to move him.

I'm gonna try and have the Gameday blog up by noon but my morning schedule us what you call hectic, apologies in advance.

Edit: I lied, new blog up.
