Too many A's, not enough I's - but in any case he's injured - Rockfish brought up Carruth (I think) from Toledo to replace him.
- StLBravesFan

I saw that. I figured Carruth might have been recalled. I didn't know if he could make the trip to Austin in enough time to catch tonight's game.

After this season, that will make it 43 seasons that the Canucks haven't won a cup. Hell of a streak your team has going there.

Keep up the good work.

THAT'S how you maintain your edge: by never being satisfied.

You can be sure that the Hawk front office, coaching staff, and players take their cues from us fans, especially here on Hockey Buzz and JJ's blog.

I guess I just assumed (I know - ASS out of U and ME) that he was recalled because of Raanta's injury.

Your math is correct...congratulations.

...but there's no panic here. Canuck fans should know better than anyone, it's not how you start, but how you finish.

Enjoy the Torts experience.

All this hand wringing about Frolik's departure is a joke....And if he makes that much of difference there are bigger concerns.

Today's article....

Ben Bishop steals two points and Hawks fall 3-2 in shootout; Fox Chicago: Frolik will be missed but Hawks PK should be fine:http://bit.ly/1huoeZg

Exactly...Frolik is just a guy...

...who was making too much cake.

There is nothing exceptional about his skill set. He was a max effort player who was great at the PK. If the Hawks can't replace him management should be questioned.

Not really. Both players appear to be centering the top scoring lines. Typically, you'll see AHL teams rotate which line starts the game. Who knows, perhaps the next game might feature the Danault line taking the opening faceoff?

We don't care to discuss the Sedin Sisters' snack preferences, thank you. By the bye, Jasper, your math is excellent.

That's because he could figure it out on one hand. If it would have involved taking off his shoes, who knows what numbers he would have come up with?

For all we know, that might be Dent's 3rd line? I just posted them in the order he rolled them out tonight. The Pirri line went first last night.

As I posted earlier, there is usually a rotation of lines - even at the start of games.

Leblanc over Pirri as the #1 C!!? Hmmmmmmmm Guess it dont matter. What is the consenus among those that see Rockford games as the best C prospect? Froese really stood out to me in the one preseason game I saw him play.

When you dominate the opponent and out shoot them 39-16, you absolutely need to come out with 2 points.

CC has been pretty uninspiring so far, save % is well below 90, beaten twice on the catching glove side last night, the first one off a poor rebound, that bounced right by Keith, who played neither the puck nor the man he was supposed to be covering.

Wake up call should come Wednesday night.
