Wasn't feeling well during the game. Leaf medical staff recommended he spend the night in hospital. He was ok the next day & released. Dunno what the illness is.

With the Leafs being MUCH improved under Nonis, he gets it easier than Burke. The Leafs were so bad under Burke, he only survived all that stress for 4 years cause he's a tough Irishman.

As much as I agree, but you have to think that it is contrived. If the CBC/TSN/SportsNet didn't have someone saying bad things about the Leafs, then all non-leafs fans would constantly complain and scream hommerism. They already do anyways, but it would be way worse.

Yeah when he came out, he's hollering like a moron, the pinching of the nose. And when the 2 players came to the ice for the puck dropping, the jackass paused, raised his hand towards Reimer, he shouts ready goalie? Than does the same to Anderson. I'm thinking, this guy is very close to getting jumped by the Sens & or 19,000 fans if he doesn't drop that puck like NOW.

The guy better not go to Ottawa anytime soon to watch hockey. The A hole has no class. He's a bafoon.

Ya. I think it was a bad idea. Besides, I'd rather se a celebrity of any kind at least for the opener. They could do the contest during the season. Just not the home opener.

I guess Carlyle is just going to have 2nd line RW auditions while Clarkson and Kulemin are out?

The pinching of the nose thing was ridiculous. He shouldve just left after that deal rather than embarassing himself and leafs fans more.
