I have a history of starting out slowly. My game starts to pick up around mid November. Stay tuned.

Gotta start somewhere. My Bozak trolling still hasn't progressed past the "he misses open nets a lot" stage so I understand slow starts.

By far tougher minutes & he did a good job at preventing high scoring chances, neither of which Corsi or Fenwick take into account.

There are QoC and Fenwick hybrid stats out there but I think even they would have had Phaneuf below Franson on the night which would be wrong.

Corsi and Fenwick actually indicate that Phaneuf is one of the best d-men in the league.

He's certainly the best d man the leafs have, that's for sure. Who would eat all those tough minutes and still score 40 pts if they traded/ didn't resign him.

I got pages of quality Raymond material collecting dust. Sometimes reality gets in the way of a good troll.

I'm sure there's a bunch of smiley happy faces around here today. The fall love-fest is always a great time of year.
- bloatedmosquito

So it's the wins in the playoffs that impress Canucks fans?

Does this mean nobody was impressed last season?

One of these days, the Canucks will have a great Spring.

There's a song called 2525 or something like that. Good tune.

The Canucks will finally concede to a rebuild in 2020. Maybe 2200?

Lookin at Gillis I have often wondered how long until he has a heart attack. The red face sweaty puffy face just screams of problem waiting to happen...

You would fcuking think so wouldn't you.

On the other hand, Eakins looks like he need a sammich. I mean I get that the guy is in great shape and everything, but maybe a buffet, or 5cent wing night would do him good once in a while.

I like the way he just looked at Torts when Torts was blowing out an O-ring.

This site is really cool.

If anyone is interested is seeing the advanced stats from last night:
http://www.extraskater.co...0-05-senators-maple-leafs

it even keeps track of the type of shot and the distance for all Corsi events.

I appreciate that you took the time to post that link and try to make a positive contribution to the thread.

I won't be following the link however because it is a complete and utter waste of time.

Yeah, Burke looks like a big-time drunk now.
